𝐆𝐨𝐝’𝐬 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 | #𝘗𝘰𝘦𝘵𝘳𝘺

Inspired by my latest post; a picture of me waiting to be called for my table reservation! ☺️🍴Have a look on my page to see what else has inspired me to write or share poems💕

Whilst this piece is heavily focused on a romantic relationship, the concept still applies to everything in life. When thing’s happen on God’s timing- that’s when perfection never goes a miss. There’s a reason why things don’t work out in the build up to success. The moment just wasn’t your moment! However that doesn’t take away from the journey and all you’ve learnt to better prepare you for your time when it comes!

At the time when I wrote this, all I could do was list what “Perfect” meant for me in terms of a relationship. But the truth is, perfection varies and is circumstantial.

There’s days when I feel like I’ve got it all and days when I feel so far away from it that I never really know if I’m coming or going. The only thing I’ve ever been sure of is the timing that God’s allowed things to develop in my life. It always makes sense when things go or don’t go my way✨

In time, I believe everything will line up as it should and reveal what is meant for me in every aspect of my life. ♥️

𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐭 & 𝐖𝐚𝐢𝐭…

Happy Hump Day🐪💛 How’s everyone’s September been so far? Mines honestly taken such a beautiful turn since August and has been filled with good vibes, family and friends 😊 This is the first time in ages where I’ve genuinely had a “It’s all gonna turn out fine” inner feeling. Life is finally starting to feel a bit more full again and I’m so ready for the new experience and growth coming my way.

My next post is a poem called “God’s Appointment” which is focused around receiving things that are meant for you at the right time. Four years ago, I had manifested a lot of things of how I’d envision my life and now I constantly feel like I’m living in that 2020 mood board 🥺⛅️

I’m now on a new journey (which is honestly kicking my butt most days 😅) but I do know my goal is not entirely out of reach. The most high has a plan for us all and sometimes it is just a case of “Waiting for your pecking number to be called”.

I thought I’d use this picture of me as inspo where I legit had to sit and wait for my number to be called! So what do you do in the meantime? Make the most of it of course! Me and my girlie used our 30 minute wait time to get drinks, take some cute pics and catch up! - In the moment it felt like wasted time, but the truth is we made memories and caught a bunch of laughs! 🩷

I’ve come to realise that, things don’t happen on time because there’s other things that need to take place before hand to truly appreciate the moment you’re waiting on! So here’s to making the most of 𝒏𝒐𝒘!

That missed opportunity that has now given you back your cash and time to book that holiday 🌎

The additional year you’ve been granted to maybe study or start a new business venture 📈

The lack of duty on your hands so that you can live as last minute and recklessly as you please. 🌃🍹

That delay on finding a job so that you make a bit more time for personal! 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

Timing is everything and timing allows the best outcome! Keep an eye out for my next post! ✨

Inspired by last post; a shot of cute penguins that reminded me of Happy Feet🩵 check out my page to see what other things have inspired me to write 💕

ᴘᴏꜱɪᴛɪᴠᴇ ᴍɪɴᴅ! Let’s talk about it 🗣️ … I saw a quote the other day that said “Positivity does not mean being happy all the time, it means that even on hard days, better ones are coming” ✨

I have decided to share this particular piece today, as I’m seriously trying to change my perception on things and mindset. After all, a peaceful mind keeps you young and healthy so it should be daily practice! 😌

The last couple of months have honestly tested my will power to stay positive, and although I’ve handled certain situations to the best that I can, I know that I need to work on my mindset a little more and speak a bit more positively over my situations!

So here’s to recognising the small blessings that we often forget about in hard times (we all have them) 🥂 Hopefully this poem will encourage you to also think about your blessings and how to stay more positive!

ʜᴀᴘᴘʏ ꜰᴇᴇᴛ 🐧 | 𝘗𝘰𝘦𝘵𝘳𝘺 𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 ✍🏾

Happy Tuesday my loves! Going with the theme of happy feet! My next post is a poem based around positivity and mindset.

I think life gets a bit heavy at times, and sometimes it’s good to just take a day off and focus on the lighter things that we do have control of 😌 I will admit, today’s poem is not a major fave of mine, but it was given to me as an unofficial challenge a few months back when I was asked “can you not just write something happy for once” - well duhhhh 🙄 it just might be a bit bland without the deep connotations 😂🤷🏾‍♀️

Anywayyyy… In true Gina style, I have spent the last couple of days tweaking it as I wanted the poem to be a slight bit punchier than how it was originally written- But don’t worry it’s still very much a light read and the message gets across 😌🦋

I also had the best day at Whipsnade Zoo the other day and could not miss the opportunity to share the pic I got of these penguins 🥹🐧 toooooo cute!!! Not to mention how stunning the natural tones are🩵📸💛

Yaaay! My first poem to make it to the grid in over a year 💃🏾 guys I’m so excited to share this next piece as it really hits home for me and was inspired by a personal topic of my own🤍

As mentioned in the poem itself - there’s so much I want to point blank say in this piece but the truth is, art is meant for interpretation and hey 🤷🏾‍♀️ there’s no fun in blurting everything out! Read between the lines enough and my writing will talk for itself 😂

When the times right, I really can’t wait to openly talk about some of the journeys I’ve been on in the past year and give deeper insight to the poems I’m sharing!

Hello my loves 👋🏾 it really has been forever hasn’t it!! After taking a year out, so much has changed and I truly feel like I am a different person to the woman who was actively writing over a year ago! I’m so excited to share what I’ve been working on ✨

The past year has bought A LOT of memories, smiles, tears, triumphs and struggles, that I probably could’ve written a book by now 😂 we honestly have so much to catch up on! so I’m gonna cut straight to the chase with a piece that can be interpreted in many different ways or applied to most situations!

For inspo is a shot of a breakfast menu from my trip to Cyprus last month! I loved that it was called “Geppettos” and felt that it was so fitting for my next piece!

Plus it’s the morning of a beautiful bank holiday Monday! Go grab that breakfast coffee! ☕️🥐 or 🥃 for those heading carnival today 🇹🇹🇯🇲💃🏾

🔙 to the image of choice! My next poem is all around “wishful thinking” and the hopes of bringing life to something! In the movie “Pinnocio” all Geppetto hoped for, is that his puppet comes to life so that he can have a real son! ✨✨ throughout all his trials and determeniation. Geppetto’s wish does eventually come true ☺️

My next poem is called “painted red” and it’s for those who generally believe in and are working on their current craft! Dreams do come true and sometimes it does just take a bit of faith and wishful thinking (and physical effort off course😂)

I wrote this piece for my amazing mummy a few years ago! Words generally cannot fit into a poem to express my gratitude and love for her - but this is a humble start.

𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 🌸

Hi all, I know it’s been a while. But as it’s Mother’s Day (in the UK) I didn’t want to miss this opportunity to get this account up and running again! I have a beautiful piece which till this day hasn’t been posted on my page 🩷

On a separate note… This week has been very reflective for me and I have been in my writing bag! Hence the picture as inspo 😂. I’ve bloomed some lovely pieces and habits this week and I’m really hoping I can continue. I also chose this image as I like the idea of “growing from nothing” and “life being formed”. The brown bag representing mothers and the flowers being all the magic they are able to create. Women in general honestly are incredible with all that they do.

My next post is a poem I wrote a few years ago for my Mum 🌸🩷 keep an eye out for my next post and future ones to come✨

Inspired to share based off my last post; a beautiful collection of books 🤍🤎 check out my page to see which other things have inspired me to share or write new pieces 💕

I feel like this poem is quite self explanatory so I’m not going to go into much detail BUT I will say - The concept of this literally came to me in the shower. I had my back to the glass door and thought to myself “what an amazing piece of art this could be if caught professionally”

This then just made me think about all the unposed moments of my life which could probably create a beautiful and natural story.
