What’s inside 33: A Collection of Poetry?

Four compelling sections. Four different journeys. One deeply personal collection.

Section I — Open Mout Story Jump Out
Unfiltered stories of womanhood, love, heartbreak, societal expectations and finding your voice.

Section II — 246
A love letter to Barbados—our culture, history, language, people and the realities that make us who we are.

Section III — To Sean With Love
An intimate journey through grief, loss and love, written in honour of my late father, Sean Griffith.

Section IV — Becoming Free
Poems about empowerment, liberation, self-worth and stepping fully into the woman you were always meant to become.

That’s what’s inside 33—pieces of my story, my country, my grief, my growth and my becoming.

Taking the Six National Missions to the People!

Mission Barbados Ambassador Rhasheda Skeete was at Zapatos by Alexander, engaging with members of the public and sharing more about the Six National Missions that are helping to shape Barbados’ transformation:

1. Sustainable Development
2. Food & Water Security
3. Social Cohesion & National Identity
4. Public Health & Public Safety
5. Worker Empowerment & Enfranchisement
6. Digital Transformation

These public engagements give us an important opportunity to meet Barbadians where they are, speak directly about the Missions, answer questions, and show how each person can contribute to building a stronger and more resilient Barbados.

Achieving these Missions requires an all-of-Barbados approach. Every individual, community and organisation has a role to play as we work towards achieving our national goals by 2030.

Taking the Missions to the People!

Mission Barbados Ambassador Joel Manning was recently at Zapatos by Alexander, Sky Mall, engaging with members of the public and sharing more about Mission Barbados and our six National Missions.

These one-on-one conversations are an important part of ensuring Barbadians understand the role we can each play in national transformation.

From our homes and workplaces to our communities, every action can contribute to the Barbados we want to build.

Mission Barbados is an all-of-Barbados effort, and achieving our six National Missions by 2030 will require all of us to play our part.

Barbados’ rich culture and heritage were proudly on display today as we warmly welcomed IShowSpeed to our shores.

The global streaming sensation, known for his high-energy content and massive online following, was spotted on Rihanna Drive, a fitting location that pays tribute to one of our most iconic figures.

Named in honour of The Right Excellent Robyn Rihanna Fenty, Barbados’ second living National Hero, the moment captured the intersection of global pop culture and national pride.

As we prepare to celebrate National Heroes Day on April 28th, it felt especially meaningful to showcase the spirit, identity, and vibrancy that define us as a people.
