Hey, Hi, Hello *ahem* (clears literary voice), uhm Hi. This is a writing page that is mine. It will consist of almost always, poems and peculiar things. But, before I kinda just go and start throwing words and stuff in squares up here, I wanted to write a little ol’ introductory note I guess. Writing has been something relatively new (predominantly the past 3-4 years) that I’ve up-taken on a somewhat-consistent basis and I feel like I’ve reached a point where I’m both comfortable enough and have a desire to share this aspect of myself. So that’s nice.

The concept of making and sharing/posting art on social media has been something that I’ve been wrestling with for some time. I go back and forth on the intricacies of it all, and how much so it is a dance on a very fine line. The contrast between true and authentic creation and the construction of content for content’s sake, and the attention it inevitably brings makes stepping into the body of water that is iNStAGraM in this case, very very murky. But! I got a half-decent pair of goggles on I think.

Expectations are going to be set to the ever-shifting setting with this page, and in some ways the creation of it is a metaphorical contract I am making with myself (Will) to uphold and make things, because I love making stuff and sometimes I need a direction and outlet to tether myself on to.

That’s pretty much it. Oh and it’s called “write this down” with three n’s cause the OG was taken (boo), and it’s kinda an expression I’ve imprinted on to myself to serve as a reminder to write the things you see, say, think, and hear that move you in any type of way downnn (maybe the n’s are fitting).
