Healing from grief & loss through poetry🌻
Words pour out of me like a paint bucket kicked across the floor…
For the deepest feelers of all things 🌗🕊️XO

She learned how to wear
calm like a disguise.

How to soften her face
while something inside her
was unraveling.

How to sit quietly
with an entire storm
pressing against her ribs.

And because she still looked
Just like herself,
no one realized how much of her
was slowly slipping away.

For anyone who has had to suffer in silence, you are not alone. You don’t have to carry it alone, either…

I poured my heart and soul into creating this piece. If you’ve ever experienced profound grief, you know how deeply it can rewire you. It changes the way you think, the way you feel, and sometimes even the way you see the world. Grief becomes a part of you, but it doesn’t have to define you. Creating art has become one of the ways I process the pain, find healing, and turn some of that darkness into something meaningful❤️🕊️

Trauma has a way of changing how you see yourself.

It can leave you questioning your worth, comparing your life to everyone else’s, and wondering why happiness seems to come so easily to other people.

If you have ever felt small inside your own life, this one is for you. You are not alone❤️

Grief and gratitude can live in the same heart❤️

It’s a strange feeling to be so grateful for the life you have, while still aching for the people you’ve lost. To experience so much happiness, yet still feel the weight of sadness in moments that should be nothing but beautiful.

I’ve learned that healing doesn’t mean leaving grief behind. It means learning to carry it while still allowing yourself to experience all the beauty life has to offer.

And maybe that’s the most extraordinary thing about the human heart. Even after everything it’s endured, it somehow finds room for more love.

If you ever forget your worth, let this be your reminder. ❤️

You are so much more than what happened to you. Never let the pain you’ve endured convince you otherwise.

Self love is not vanity<3

Some losses change you forever. Losing both of my brothers left a space in my heart that no amount of time could ever fill.

I wrote this poem for them, for the love that never left, the memories I hold close, and the little birdies that remind me they’re still with me in some way🕊️❤️

Grief is just love with nowhere to go, and I will carry that love for the rest of my life.

If you’re struggling with the weight of losing someone you love, please know that you don’t have to suffer in silence. You deserve to be heard, to be supported, and to find moments of light even while carrying a broken heart 💔

There are moments in life that change us forever. Moments that divide our lives into who we were before and who we became after.

Losing my brother Justin was one of those moments. The grief that followed took me to places I never imagined I’d go, and finding my way back to myself was a journey I never expected to take.

I share this piece of my story for anyone who knows what it’s like to lose someone they love and have to figure out how to keep living without them❤️🕊️

The Broken Girl | Part Two 🖤

Some wounds don’t disappear with time. They become a part of our story, shaping who we are and how we see the world.

But healing has taught me that what happened to us doesn’t have to define who we become.

This is another piece of my story, written from a place of pain, reflection, and growth.

For anyone who’s ever had to find their way back to themselves, I hope these words resonate with you 🕊️

For That Broken Girl | Part One…

I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember. It’s always been a way for me to process my emotions, make sense of the things I’ve been through, and put feelings into words when I couldn’t quite say them out loud.

Writing has become such an important part of my healing journey, and lately I’ve felt this pull to stop keeping it all to myself.

So here I am, stepping outside of my comfort zone and sharing a piece of myself with you. This is my first time reading my writing out loud and sharing it publicly, and honestly, it feels a little scary to be this vulnerable.

But I also believe there’s something beautiful about sharing our stories. Maybe someone out there will hear a little piece of their own story in mine.

This is part one of For That Broken Girl<3
