After weeks on the road, there’s something especially lovely about coming home to Wyoming.

Our headquarters at Stags Landing is a place to gather, create, and find inspiration in the landscape around us. But what makes it feel like ours is the people who bring it to life each day.

We’re growing our team and would love to meet others who share our care for thoughtful design and the work behind it. Explore opportunities at the link in our bio. by @wrjdesign

It began with Natural Elegance—now we are excited to share a first look at our second book, Natural Luxury, to be released by Vendome Press in July 2026!

Featuring ten new projects—from rustic log cabins set near streams to modern homes overlooking the Tetons, and a refined pied-à-terre in Manhattan—this book reflects our passion for beautiful natural landscapes, the Mountain West, and thoughtfully connecting the homes we design with their scenic surroundings.

With photography by Roger Davies, Eric Piasecki, and Matthew Millman, and text in collaboration with Architectural Digest contributing editor David Foxley, Natural Luxury embodies the evolution of our firm and design philosophy. We look forward to sharing more in the months ahead!

Unlocking 337 years of history. Ahead of his return to the San Francisco Fall Show, Rush shares the story behind a 1689 antique chest he discovered there years ago, and the details that caught his eye.

We can’t wait to see what this year brings.

Stepping out of the studio and into the mountains together. Beyond the drawings, fabrics, and project sites, it’s the collaboration, laughter, and shared moments that keep our creative spirit thriving.

Five wins in ten years. Five distinctive homes. One enduring philosophy.

We’re honored to receive Mountain Living’s 2026 Home of the Year award, marking WRJ’s fifth win in a decade.

This year’s winning home reflects the philosophy that connects all five: interiors rooted in their surroundings, shaped by the people who call them home, and designed to endure.

Thank you to Mountain Living, our clients for their trust, and the talented artisans, builders, and partners who share in this achievement.
