Just a few images from our gorgeous & cosy first Sunday Session at Fincan Neukölln. We had a feeling it was going to be a good one and we’re still blown away by the two stunning performances, a truly inspiring discussion, and the beautiful constellation of people who joined us. Many, many thanks to the artists Grace Lu and Shona Stark who shared their work and their souls, and as ever, the brilliant Gorjeoux Moon for hosting. The Sunday Sessions are taking place on the first Sunday of the month until the New Year. Next event is Sunday, 1st November at Fincan Neukölln. 聽說有表演與駐村分享 PURR Collective: Grace Lu + Clay Hillenburg ”A Million Images of One Corner“ Ting Shuo Performance + AIR sharing 2026.03.03 TUES 19:00-20:30 自由定價 free donation @台南聽說 Ting Shuo Studio, Tainan PURR Collective 將於聽說駐村期間，呈現以檔案思考、素材蒐集與集體編作為核心的聲音過程演出。本計畫並非將田野錄音視為單純紀錄，而是將聲音視為一種「活的檔案」——碎片、聲響與聲音在彼此堆疊與交會中生成意義。 演出素材來自台南的廟宇、市場與日常基礎設施，並將「嘈雜」視為一種豐盈狀態，而非混亂本身，聆聽信仰、消費與生存如何在城市中交疊共存。活動將結合現場聲音演出與開放式交流，邀請觀眾一同進入藝術家的研究方法，與作品在駐村之後的持續發展。 During their residency at Ting Shuo Hear Say, PURR Collective will present an in-progress sound performance shaped by archival thinking, material collection, and collective composition. Rather than treating field recordings as documentation, the project approaches sound as an active archive—where fragments, voices, and textures accumulate, interact, and generate meaning through proximity. Drawing from temples, markets, and everyday infrastructures in Tainan, the performance explores cacophony not as chaos but as a condition of abundance, where spiritual practice, consumption, and survival overlap. The event will combine live sound performance with an open conversation, inviting the audience into the collective’s research process and the evolving life of the work beyond the residency. Made a lil mix for 团结湖公园 on BAIHUI.live 🦋 Described as: "Regeneration after winter, spring incoming". In this episode, YONI, from Taipei with roots in Berlin and Chicago, takes us on a slow dive into the deep waters of broken beats, reverberations and atmospheres. In just 60 minutes, follow her as she wanders forward, feeling the changes that come with the territory: the layers, the continuity. "Much too much, more and more, on and on, forward we go."
