RIP Frank.
I made T-Shirts and prints for the first time in my life in 1991 to sell outside of Madison Square Garden for ZZ Top's January 28th show. I was 21 at the time and excited to finally see them live. I painted directly onto the screen.
This image is the last known silkscreen print that I borrowed from a friend.
ZZ Top has always been my favorite band of all time.

A thumbnail to a pencil, then ink. I draw every flyer by hand. Give me a day or two for the finished result.

In 1999 I did a painting for the VHS & DVD of the documentary film "release".
This is the DVD cover and spine since I no longer have the original.
