Kouchera (/ˈkoo-CHAIR-uh/) is a high-energy ensemble delivering electrifying performances filled with emotional depth and boundless fun. Seamlessly fusing Rhythm, Haitian Konpa, and Soul, Kouchera creates an unforgettable musical experience that leaves audiences inspired and dancing. The name kou.che.ra (/ˈkoo-CHAIR-uh/) is a portmanteau — a seamless blend of the Haitian Creole and Hindi words for “cousin.” That sense of connection runs through every performance, as the band blends the richness of Soul, the emotive storytelling of Rhythm & Blues, and the infectious rhythms of Haitian Konpa to bring audiences and their loved ones to their feet.
