🌟🌟 Senior Spotlight 🌟🌟

Number 27 Captain Jessica Forbes

Position:
Defense/Midfield

Major/Minor:
Major: Business Administration-Accounting
Minor(s): computer science and economics

Fav memory: Winning the regular season in 2025!
As well as, working the FIFA World Cup games at Gillette with the team and getting to experience amazing soccer!

Advice for team: My words of wisdom to the team would be to enjoy every practice, every team activity, and every game like it’s the last because it goes by in the blink of an eye. Appreciate the little things and take advantage of every opportunity because they soon will become a memory. At the end of the day, it’s not only about the soccer, but about the experiences you learn from, the friendships you make, and the life lessons you take with you beyond the field.

Number 13 Ava Lemanski

Position: forward

Major/minor: Public health with a minor in Sociology

Favorite memory from wsu wsoc: team dinners with the team

Words of wisdom to leave the team: As I get ready to close this chapter of life I realize how important it is to cherish every second. One day you will look back and wish you could relive these moments. Always remember soccer is a part of who you are, but it doesn’t define you. You are so much more than an athlete, and your worth goes far beyond what you do on the field. Most importantly, this team is a family, and the relationships you build here will mean so much more than any stats, wins or losses. Be present, enjoy the little things, and never take for granted the opportunity to play the game you love alongside people who eventually become a family.

So, even when it feels hard push through!! All of the time and effort you put into this, will be so worth it. Most importantly always support your teammates and HAVE FUN!!!!!
