Waterski Wake-sports BC is hiring a part-time Executive Director.
Location: British Columbia
Hours: Approximately 50hrs/month - summer months have more hours than winter months
Contract: 3 month probation then 2 years
Start date: November 1, 2026
Compensation: $2500/month

WSWBC is the provincial governing body for Towed Water Sports in British Columbia, representing a broad range of disciplines, including water skiing, wakeboarding, wakesurfing, and adaptive watersports.

Our mission is to provide ongoing opportunities and support for towed water sports enthusiasts, athletes, coaches, and officials through athlete development, education, and competition at all levels, while collaborating with stakeholders to grow and strengthen our sports across British Columbia.

About the Role

The Executive Director oversees WSWBC’s day-to-day administration and operations and serves as a key point of contact for members, clubs, athletes, coaches, officials, committees, funding partners, and external organizations.

The Executive Director reports directly to the President, who serves as the liaison between the Executive Director and the WSWBC Board of Directors.

That is a wrap on the 2026 BC Wakesurf Provincial Championships presented by SWS Marine Group...and what an epic event it was!

We had the top pro riders in Canada attending and a huge number of first-time competitors across all the divisions at the Provincial Championships on Saturday, August 15 at Koocanusa Village.

Over 50 athletes competed in several different divisions including Juniors, Amateur, Masters, and Pro with riders coming from as close as Koocanusa Village to as far away as Victoria and parts of Alberta. We had an awesome week with coach @k8_pinsonneault in Campbell river! There were 9 new practice personal bests this week along with countless hours of fun! A special thanks to everyone that made this great camp possible taken in McIvor Lake by @wswbc

The 1st ever WSWBC Skaha Lake camp was a huge success. Thank you to Keith Donegani and Family for hosting this camp. The kids developed confidence on the water and more passion to continue to ski. Skiing + hot chocolate = a great camp by @wswbc

The 2026 BC Wakesurf Provincials presented by SWS Marine Group kick off this Saturday, August 15 at Koocanusa Village.

It is open to surfers of all ages and abilities. If you can throw the rope, we’d love to have you join us.

The legendary Fenwick & Baker Food Truck will be on site from 11am-4pm, there will be games on the beach, a swag bag for the first 40 registrants, prizes…and some awesome surfing! The team from SWS Marine will have a 2026 Malibu M230 on the dock along with a beautiful Barletta pontoon boat for demos all day.

Registration is $75 and closes TOMORROW August 11, 2026 at Noon. There will be NO late registrations, so get registered now: www.wswbc.org/events
