NEW GUITAR DAY IS HERE😄🔥!!!
So I brought a souvenir back home 😅🎸

I’ve wanted an extended-range guitar for the longest time, and this beast is even more special because it’s tied to some incredible memories.

I still can’t quite believe it’s mine. 😂

To top it all off, I got to see Teacher @grace.pereire again after 11 years. 🥺😄 Thank you for the lift, and thank you for being the amazing person that you’ve always been😊. It was great to see you again and catch up, even if only for a little while.

Now I have to learn a whole new instrument that I almost didn’t buy. I originally wanted a 7-string because I always thought an 8-string was a bit too much. But I also knew that if I bought the 7, I’d eventually want an 8 anyway.

Well, a few days later, I can honestly say I have zero regrets. I’m absolutely stoked about the possibilities this instrument offers and all the music I’ll be able to explore with it.

So here’s me relearning A Dark Horizontal with the proper amount of strings. 😭😭🤘

Edit: shout out to @krisxen for recommending me the group on Facebook where I found the guitar and for peer pressuring me into getting an 8string 😜🤘🏿

I’m still processing the great weekend I had at the Wacken Metal Battle Africa. I really tried to go into this trip with no expectations, just taking it for what it was, which I believe is a better way to go through life in general.

Needless to say, I had tons of fun. I got to talk with a lot of cool people and finally meet @euclides.anatolly in person after talking online for yyyyyeeeeeaaaaarrrrsss. Too bad we didn’t get to take a proper picture together.

I watched some sick-ass bands, had fun, shared a drink or two with @krisxen , talked metal, gear, the bands that were playing, and a whole lot of other shenanigans.

I also had the honor of sharing the stage with some of the best metal musicians our continent has to offer.

Huge thanks to the organizers, @sashquita and @lanakepana , for treating us so well. Cheers to the lighting and sound crews as well—you all did an outstanding job.

A huge hug to everyone, I came back home with new memories and an updated playlist(cause all those bands were just too sick), I hope we get to do this again soon.

Cheers,
