Black Widow Blues is OUT!!!
i remember going into the studio and experiencing this feeling of absolute nothingness, all i wanted to do was “consume”. i said to eric, “it’s like there’s this black hole inside of me. nothing is ever enough” and he was like “yup, that’s the song. let’s lean into that”. Black Widow Blues came from that aching hollowness. this outlandish, over the top confessional about the desire for chaos and control. lacking depth, craving devotion. campy and glamorous. rather than wallowing in that emptiness, i’m letting myself embody the villain.

my debut album “Like Human” will be out oct 16!!!!
it was important to me that i stayed honest about the ugliness in myself, and in humanity, during the process of writing this project. i’ve always had a hard time expressing my true nature, and this society we’re raised in forces us to live through our learned behavior rather than following our hearts.

every song is a learned behavior gone toxic. a shadow, exacerbated to the point of me (us) becoming a caricature of myself (ourselves).
it’s a lie.
denying the love within yourself and living in obsession, shame, rage, lust, regret, and delusion.

ty to this beautiful team for capturing these photos 🖤
