In the Time We Lost
Wet Plate Collodion on 18 Smartphones

Incredibly grateful for my time at App State and for everyone who supported this senior project through guidance, critique, patience, and belief. This work exists because of that support.

Three recent Appalachian State Fine Art Photography alumni, Isabelle Green (2024), Charles Shuford (2024), and Savannah Waters (2025), were featured in Photo Relics for the Memories, Handmade Objects for the Horses, an exhibition in the barn at Split Oak Farm for Slow Exposures in Zebulon, Georgia.

Photo faculty member Greg Banks also exhibited work and supported the group throughout the project. The show celebrated artists across the rural South who expand photography into objects and assemblage to explore memory, place, and material culture.

Final Sustainable Darkroom Project!
This work draws a parallel between my mother and me as babies, exploring generational connection and inherited identity. Cyanotypes toned in green tea, the images pay quiet homage to my Japanese roots and the traditions steeped in memory
