Okay, but how do you change heads?
Easily! Our system makes it easier and faster to change a drumhead and get it tuned up than previous lug-based systems.

Everyone knows about the “Funky Drummer” breakbeat. Not everyone knows about Clyde Stubblefield’s drum solo at the end of the 9:30 minute full studio jam, recorded November 20, 1969. It’s well worth your time to learn! My book “Clyde Stubblefield: Sound of the Funky Drummer” is available now at www.hudsonmusic.com.

For my first post about the @musiccitydrumshow I’d like to feature the man and my homie Mr. Sam Welch who made the @wtsdrums tuning system. This is a game changer if you don’t know about them. Such an innovative idea and so useful for studio/gigging drummers. Plus his drums sound and feel amazing! Go check out @wtsdrums if you’re a real man or lady or animal that is 😉

For a limited time, get the full-bodied tone from the 13x7.5” WTS Epiphany Series snare drum combined with the easiest, most intuitive tuning system for only $575.
Whether you’re tuning ultra low or up into the highest end of the range, the 7.5” shell depth ensures that this snare won’t thin out. By adjusting the tension of both heads simultaneously, the system maintains intonation AND consistency of character and the Snare Mic captures it all without any changes in placement, gain, or mix.
