We are the 7,500 food & beverage cast members at the Disneyland Resort. Our members have been a part of the union since the 1950s.

Our October General Meeting will take place on October 14th at 6:30 pm.

The Union will be reading off its proposal for the creation of a strike fund, as well as other union business and important updates. Please join us to be part of the discussion and to ask any questions you may have. Please note that a vote for the proposal will not be taking place at this meeting. Voting will take place at the December General Meeting and Holiday Party. More information on the holiday party will be provided later this week. Food will be provided, and Zoom will be available for those who wish to join us virtually. Link in bio.

Oogie Boogie Nights are coming up! As noted in the CBA, CRs are required to be fully available for work assignments on event dates. For questions regarding your schedules and availability, please reach out to your production scheduler. FT Cast! It’s time for Annual Enrollment. Enrollment for 2027 Benefits will run through October 14th - November 12th

Changes for 2027:
Eligible dependents need to actively added during annual enrollment in order for them to receive coverage beginning January 1st 2027. If dependents are not added during annual enrollment, your next chance will be during 2028 Annual Enrollment, with the exception of experiencing a qualified event. Spouses will be eligible for medical coverage if they are not eligible for employer-sponsoed group medical coverage through their own employer. Please note that this does not apply for dental or vision coverage.

There will be changes to medical plans, which includes updated payroll conributions, deductibles, copays and out-of-pocket maximums. We recommend that all eligible members review their benefits, including dependents and spouses to ensure your family has the coverage it needs.

Please join us for an evening of lights, laughter and togetherness! There will be food, activities for kids, dancing, and raffle prizes.��

Our General Meeting and Holiday Party will take place on Wednesday, December 9th 2026, from 5pm to 10pm, and it is open to Local 50 members and their guests.

Members who are bringing in guests will be required to RSVP. Members who are not bringing in guests are recommended to RSVP in order to receive the event email blasts. However it is not required. All members will need to bring their Cast ID. Registration is open until November 30th at 11:59 pm. Link in bio.

Each member will be able to bring in the number of guests allotted to them through their Main Entrance Pass (MEP). For example, if your MEP allows you to bring in three guests with you into the parks, we will allow you to bring three guests to the event. We will need those with a MEP that allows them to bring in more than 3 guests to contact us through the “Contact the Host” link located on the left column of the event page.��We look forward to seeing you there!

As we have mentioned previously, the Union is proposing the development of a strike fund. Here is the proposed language for the amendment to the bylaws. We invite you all to attend our General Meeting to ask any questions that you may have on the proposal. Our next meeting will take place on October 14th at 6:30 p.m. at the Union office. You can attend in person or join us via Zoom. As noted in the proposal, the vote for this proposal will take place during the December General Meeting and Holiday Party on December 9th. More information on the holiday party will be shared in the coming days.

Como hemos mencionado anteriormente, el Sindicato está proponiendo el desarrollo de un fondo de huelga. Aquí está el lenguaje propuesto para la enmienda a los estatutos. Los invitamos a todos a asistir a nuestra Asamblea General para hacer cualquier pregunta que puedan tener sobre la propuesta.
