Sometimes I genuinely don’t know if I’m an introvert or an extrovert… I think I’m something in between🙄 and “it depends on the stress level” personality.

Because why does the idea of an event feel like manual labour?

Outfit stress, getting ready, stepping out, traffic, small talk… by the time I finish thinking about it, I deserve rest. Meanwhile, my bed and Netflix are offering me a soft life with zero dress code.

And then people get offended when they’re not invited somewhere and I’m like… are you okay? You’ve just been given a VIP pass to peace and quiet. No “what am I wearing?”, no “I’m on my way” when you’re still on your bed, no “I’ve reached” when you’re five streets away. That’s not exclusion, that’s event exemption.

But then again… there are days I want to step out, look cute and be outside like I pay rent there.🥰☺️

So maybe I’m not confused. Maybe I’m just an introvert with occasional extrovert subscriptions… that expire without notice. 🙂 by @wunmi_ad

Glory to God.
Not to chance.
Not to man.
Not to strength of will.
It is God. And God. And God.

In the good days when joy is loud,
It is God.

In the bad days when tears speak first,
It is God.

In the ugly moments we don’t understand,
Still, it is God.

In disappointment that bruises the heart, we lift our eyes and say thank you.

Because in all things,
We give thanks to God.
Not because it is easy,
But because He is faithful.
Yesterday - God.
Today, it is still God.

Wrote this:

SILENT SATURDAY

The streets were hushed, the sky stood still,
Jerusalem lay under a grieving chill.
The crowds had scattered, the cross now bare,
Only whispers of sorrow lingered in the air.

Friday’s tears had dried on cheeks,
The mourning deep, no one dared speak.
Disciples hid, confused and torn,
He was the Christ - how could He be gone?🤔

He calmed the storm, He raised the dead,
With just a word, the hungry fed.
He touched the sick, gave blind men sight,
Now sealed in darkness, robbed of light.

Did Peter wonder if he was still forgiven?
Did Mary weep with empty hands?
Did Thomas already start to doubt?

Silent Saturday, no miracles today,
No thunder rolls, no stone rolled away.
Just waiting… with aching, unanswered cries,
While hope seemed buried where He lies.

But God was working. In hidden grace,
He moved beyond the human race.
Behind the silence, beneath the grave,
A plan of glory, love to save.

For death must yield to Heaven’s King,
And silence break when angels sing.
Though hearts may ache in silent pain,
Sunday’s light will rise again.

LESSONS IN STILLNESS
When your prayers feel lost in air,
And all you’ve got is silent prayer
Remember this: He’s not asleep,
He works the most when depths are deep.

Don’t measure God by what you see,
For He moves in divine mystery.
When hope feels gone, and nights feel long,
Hold on, child - your faith is strong.

The tomb was borrowed, not the throne.
He never left you, not alone.
So keep believing, don’t lose sight,
The darkest days birth Heaven’s light.

Because Silent Saturdays may seem the end
But Resurrection Sunday is just ‘round the bend. by @wunmi_ad
