I was speaking with one of my sisters @anjola.oluwaaa recently, and during our conversation we spoke about how insatiable human wants are.

She mentioned that after completing a degree she was so excited to start, she did not feel the fulfillment she expected. Instead, the very next thought in her head was simply, “So, what next?” She said she felt genuinely sad, and I could relate completely.

After my first degree, my immediate question was “What next academically and career-wise?” That desire for more led straight into pursuing another degree, and now, as the end of this program draws closer, that exact same void is back.

Now, I keep on asking myself What next? PhD? Rest small first? Get a job? Update my resume? Ministry? Or maybe try to do everything together?

It is such a strange paradox. Every time a goal is achieved, we keep wanting more. We are wired to always want more and progress hence we are rarely ever fully satisfied for long. The more we achieve, the more we want to achieve.

This has brought about a realisation that the joy of a goal often lives in the pursuit of it and that truly nothing in this world satisfies. Not the degrees, not the success, not the wealth, not the fulfilled dreams. The more you have it, the more you want to have it and the more you see that everything truly does not matter.

What brings true satisfaction is a genuine and intimate relationship with Jesus. You can never be satisfied. We will never be satisfied. Even with the Lord, the more we know Him, the more we want to know Him.

This here is the Insatiable wiring in every human.

I found this video from two years ago this morning and it blessed me in no small way.

I have a word for anyone that people have said to in your darkest moments, "Nobody is coming to save you". Here is your word 'God is coming to save you'.

How do I know? Because the Bible says:
Say to those with fearful hearts, ‘Be strong, do not fear; your God will come. He will come to save you.' Isaiah 35:4.

Just hang on a little bit more. He is coming to save you.
I hope you are comforted.❤️

On the 30th of June when I was preparing for Worship Without Walls, I decided to pray while playing an instrument by Min Wisdom Andrews underneath when this song came. I knew it was a prophetic word so I immediately took my phone to record it.

If you joined WWW or watched afterwards, I mentioned it during the session that I received a sound and an anchor scripture (Ecc 11:3a) for the session which is this. I have selfishly listened to it for days🙈 and I have felt it so strongly in my spirit in the past few days to post it because the clouds are full it is somebody’s season for rainfall.

Please do not mind that the instrument is louder than the voice, just try to listen to the lyrics and soak it in. I believe God will do all that He wants to do through this.

Psalm 139:23-24
Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

In this month of July, I pray that our hearts are thoroughly purged and purified by God.

June Worship Without Walls.

What an amazing time we had. The word for the month of July is RAIN. Ecclesiastes 11:3a "If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth."

Rain is falling in this month of July! No dryness, no drought, no fruitless efforts in Jesus name!❤️

Happy Sunday!
Service was so beautiful today.
I finally found a local church after monthssss of searching.
As beautiful as online service is, nothing beats physical fellowship with the brethren. This is a sign for you to find a local church close to you and go to church next week Sunday.

PS: They served refreshments at the end of the service, so I am definitely going back😹
