After three years of working at Woestijnvis, it’s time to do my own thing and become full freelance as a motion and graphic designer!

I’ve set up my own creative studio in a shared atelier in Molenbeek, surrounded by beautiful people. It’s a space for experiment, collaboration, and growth.

I recently bought my own RISO duplicator! I’ll be using it to explore, to play, and to further develop my own visual language. But I’m also opening it up to others — whether you’re looking to print your own work or want to collaborate, let’s talk! I’ll post some more details soon about the printing services.

Happy to share what has been brewing for quite some time. We we’re thrilled to have been selected for the 10 year retrospective magazine of the Belgian online music hub @whathappensbe

For the occasion the team have spoken to some influential figures all throughout Belgium to give insight into the railing and sailing of its music culture. Grateful for what came out of this swift collaboration, thanks to @pieterjannerinckx @dieterholvoet and @renzofoncke for the courage and effort, your time is surely well spent on independent publishing.

Some remnants that try and capture, but utterly fail to grasp the entropic experience of creating a giftshop for @wakinglife.pt festival. A perpetual learning experience in collaboration with all actors who collectively shape the festival. With guidance from the communication team, the steady input of enthusiastic participants. The abundance of energy of the screenprinters from @print_paviljoen and phenomenal host @kikovargas ultimately ran this printing sanctuary without us. 🦋

The ouptut of which is impossible to translate in snapshots but some numbers can give perspective. Two broken down cars to get all material on site. Five hundred+ items printed, all of them unique, and of which at least one bikini. One thousand RISO-printed postcards found an owner of which two hundred we’re posted all across Europe and beyond 📯

Being trusted with such a bundle of highly personal messages, was life-affirming in ways we couldn’t have predicted and sums up some of what we ultimately strive to achieve by @wurd_ex
