to all of the wlw representation that i grew so attached to.

not all of them had the perfect storyline or a happy ending, but they were something that i clung to — they gave me hope(?), and something to dream about by @wusherrywu

2025 fisu world university games — forever grateful and honoured to have gotten the chance to be on this team 🫶🇨🇦

it being my first international tournament, i didn’t really know what to expect, especially since it was such a big games. in the end, all i know is that i played the best that i could have, and i tried to savour every moment.

thank you to my teammates for being a blast to hang out with, run with, train with, travel cities with, chat with, laugh with, and just be with. you guys and gals were definitely the best part of these last 2 weeks. much love to all of you ♥️

thank you to efendi and val for their coaching and guidance, @nike @biosteelsports @yonexcanada for sponsoring, and to our physio marie for also being the biggest cheerleader 🙌

huge thanks to giselle for helping me train (and phil for courts) leading up to the games so that i didn’t absolutely suck ✨

as someone who normally steers clear of mixed at all costs, never did i think i would have so much fun playing it in finals in a national tournament

thanks @raval_dhruv07 for having my back, @carlo.tabula for treating my back, and @_chloecr @calvin_pkj @airi.moromisato for coaching in the back

huuuge s/o to ALL the Ontario players, coaches & therapists for being the best cheering squad and for making it a blast 🫶

🗿A fun lil collage of sorts from my first time bouldering in the outdoors!

Outdoor climbing was what I had anticipated it to be:
• Hard to find footholds
• There were in fact spiders and other bugs sometimes living in the holds
• Lots of bugs (& worms) in general 🕷️🪱
• Topping out and getting back down was the hardest part sometimes

⛰️But also not because I didn’t realize we had to trek to get there and I wore my birks and I thought they were going to fall through the holey stairs and that I was going to slip/trip down some rocks.

All that being said, I think it was still a fun time and I was with a great group of people. It was also nice that I was actually able to send and flash some stuff so I didn’t feel completely inept (although I felt like I forgot all the technique I knew when climbing the real rocks).

Would do it again but for now, I think I am still an indoor girlie and still a pretty mid climber💁‍♀️
