You will not want to miss this run of shows!

We'll be playing:
9/10 (Thur) in Morgantown at 123 Pleasant Street
9/11 (Fri) in Thomas at The Purple Fiddle
9/12 (Sat) in Charleston at Folklore Music Exchange

If you can make it out to these shows, please go get your tickets ASAP while they're still available. by @wv_caveman

🚨 NEW REPORT: A scathing new analysis from the ACLU of West Virginia reveals that state officials heavily misled the public regarding the winter immigration crackdown known as “Operation Country Roads.”

Despite rhetoric claiming the operation targeted dangerous criminals, data shows that 75% of the 593 people arrested had absolutely no criminal record, with zero detentions for sexual assault or crimes involving children. Furthermore, the massive influx of detainees resulted in severe overcrowding in West Virginia jails, pushing facilities well past their contracted capacities.

Credited to the vital reporting by @westvirginiawatch and @the_amelia and @wv_caveman this crucial breakdown exposes the stark reality behind the state's 287(g) enforcement program.

There will be some great live music Saturday night! Go check them out! Interesting fact. I used this type for the first time when Heather and friends played at the Purple in Thomas, WV last summer. The type came from a hell box from an old print shop in Huntingdon Pennsylvania. I was at the Isett Heritage Museum and noticed the poster for a picnic in 1921. I got the chills when I realized the type I now have was used to print those posters 105 years ago. by @wv_caveman

What a great show at the Fiddle Sunday night! It was an honor to print these posters for Heather, Rebecca, Kyle, and Ben. And, it was a great opportunity to show off some 150 year old reclaimed wood type (while making improvised "H"s from "I"s, stars, and diamonds). taken in Thomas, West Virginia by @wv_caveman

Last May, @bigcitychickens showed me a @iceman_hof video. We immediately found the coldest water we could and went for a dip. It was an absolutely life changing experience.

Here's to a year of breath work, cold-ass water, and getting high on my own supply.
