West Valley City is not just a location — it is its people. As a city, we have plans for events to celebrate all of us, starting with a City Wide Scavenger Hunt on March 14th! Intermountain Health is making a major investment in our community with plans for a new medical campus in the heart of West Valley City. Intermountain has acquired the nine-story, 235,000-square-foot Fairbourne Building at 3535 Market Street and will transform it into the new Intermountain Health Fairbourne Campus. The campus will bring a wide range of healthcare services closer to home, including primary and specialty care, advanced imaging, laboratory services, infusion treatments, outpatient care, rehabilitation, pharmacy services and more. Intermountain Health Medical Group will also have a significant presence on campus, with providers in medical oncology, orthopedics, neurology, cardiology, gastroenterology and rheumatology. Construction inside the building is already underway, with several clinics and services expected to open later this year. A freestanding emergency department affiliated with Intermountain LDS Hospital is planned for late 2027. Located across from Valley Fair Mall and near TRAX, I-215, Bangerter Highway and 3500 South, the new campus will make it easier for West Valley City residents and families to access care closer to home.
