The research collaboration conversation continues! 💬 Don't miss the inaugural WVU + Johns Hopkins Rural Health Convos: Substance Use next Thursday (7/16), where WVU's Professor Gordon Smith and JHU's Associate Professor Sean Allen will discuss substance use in rural communities and discuss future collaborative research opportunities. The next generation of healthcare leaders got a hands-on look at public health research! 🚗🔬 Students from the @wvudeptofmed inaugural Camp Med visited the School of Public Health, where they experienced our driving simulation lab with faculty member Toni Rudisill. Through interactive demonstrations, campers explored how research can improve roadway safety, prevent injuries and protect the health of communities. Camp Med introduces rising high school juniors and seniors from rural West Virginia to the many career paths available in healthcare—and we were proud to help inspire what comes next!
