That’s a wrap on the 2026 USL League Two season. Our playoff run came to an end, but there’s so much to be proud of. Valley Division Champions. USL League Two Playoff Qualifiers. A season filled with unforgettable moments, incredible people, and a club that continues to grow.

🏆 Valley Division Champions! Despite falling on the road tonight, results elsewhere officially clinched the Valley Division title for WV United and secured our spot in the 2026 USL League Two Playoffs presented by VensureHR.

It’s a testament to the consistency this group has shown throughout the season, but there’s still more to accomplish.

The job isn’t finished. We’ll see you in the playoffs. ⛰️⚽️ by @wvutd

The biggest matchup in West Virginia soccer returns this Sunday as Marshall and WVU meet in the Mountain State Derby! ⚽️⛰️

Year after year, this rivalry continues to draw record crowds and bring attention to the game in our state. The talent on both sides and the support surrounding these programs have played a huge role in the growth of soccer throughout West Virginia.

It makes this year’s matchup even more special for us at WV United, with several familiar faces representing both programs. Brier Wagner, Joao Roberto and Gabriel Stevanato, who all played with us this summer, join former WV United player Ryan Holmes at Marshall, while Toby Mawer has been holding it down in goal for WVU.

Proud to have been part of their journeys and excited to watch them compete on a stage like this. Best of luck to our players and both programs on Sunday! by @wvutd

Congratulations to WV United’s Theo Da Silva on being named to the USL League Two Central Conference Team of the Year!

A commanding presence in the midfield all season, Theo’s work at the heart of our team earned him a spot among the very best in the Central Conference.

Well deserved, Theo!⛰️⚽️ by @wvutd

Behind every great season is a great support system. As we wrap up another great WV United season, we want to recognize the incredible families who opened their homes to our players this summer.

From sharing meals and celebrating wins to providing encouragement after tough days, your kindness gave our players a place where they could feel comfortable, supported, and focused on competing.

The relationships built over the past few months extend far beyond the field. Many of these players arrived as strangers and leave as part of your family, carrying memories and friendships they’ll take with them wherever soccer leads next.

Your generosity is a huge part of what makes the WV United experience so special. Thank you for investing in our players, our club, and our community. From everyone at WV United, thank you to our amazing host families. 💚⚽️⛰️ by @wvutd

Stepping into a different role this time, and I enjoyed every second of it. Nothing compares to being on the field, but watching you all compete and represent what we built together was something special.

From day one, I told you guys we were going to be a great team, and you proved it every time you stepped onto the field.

Thank you to every player who believed in me, trusted me to come to @wvutd , and committed to making history. You won your conference, became conference champions, and at one point were ranked among the best teams in the country. That’s something no one can ever take away from you.

A huge thank you to the entire coaching staff for making this such an enjoyable experience. And a special shoutout to Harry for believing in me. I was originally meant to be one of your players, but instead you trusted me to be your right-hand man and gave me the opportunity to contribute from a different role (best recruiter in the country 😉) I’ll always be grateful for the confidence you had in me and for allowing me to be part of something special.

I’m incredibly proud of each and every one of you. I hope our paths cross again, maybe we’ll be teammates, or maybe you’ll play for me again. Who knows?

Keep chasing your dreams, stay humble, and never settle.

Until next time… thank you all for trusting me.
