NXT VENGEANCE DAY:

Tonight, we see the NXT Women's Championship on the line where Roxanne Perez defends against one of NXT's most dominant tag teams — Toxic Attraction! But, it's every woman for herself as it is a Triple Threat and there can only be one winner. Plus, Katana Chance & Kayden Carter look to continue their reign as longest-reigning NXT Women's Tag Team Champions as they take on the unlikely duo of Kiana James & Fallon Henley. I'm super excited for tonight's title matches. I see Roxanne retaining, and as for the tag title match, I'm not sure as to who's winning, but I think Katana & Kayden will retain. Who are you rooting for tonight?

AND YOUR WINNER IS! Rhea Ripley just won the 2023 Women's Royal Rumble match from #1 lasting over an hour!! That match was really good and had me at the edge of my seat! I'm HYPED for Rhea vs. Bianca or Charlotte.

And now I would like to spend some time talking about who I believe to be the most improved superstar of 2022, none other than the recently released Mandy Rose! Mandy has had an amazing past year reigning as NXT Women's Champion for every month of the calendar year. In my previous post, I said Bianca Belair had the best year, but Mandy Rose is right next to her in that category. Mandy Rose's main roster run was... to say the least, lackluster. She was always involved in side feuds and never did anything meaningful. But that all changed in August of 2021, when Mandy would make her triumphant return to NXT! She would soon form Toxic Attraction and capture the NXT Women's Championship and hold it for a incredible 413 days, becoming the 3rd longest reigning women's champion in NXT history. Unfortunately, Mandy's historic reign came to an end at the hands of Roxanne Perez and was shortly released after. It sucks that if it wasn't for her planned release, she could've still been champ right now. I know she was set to drop the belt at New Year's Evil but it would've been awesome to see Rose hold the title for the entirety of 2022. Nonetheless, Mandy has been a defending champion, against the likes of IYO SKY, Dakota Kai, Meiko Satomura, Roxanne Perez, Raquel Gonzalez, Alba Fyre, Zoey Stark, Blair Davenport, Cora Jade, Wendy Choo and more, totalling in at 10 successful title defenses. Mandy's NXT Title reign is surely an unforgettable one, and is one of my personal favourites in recent memory. I would love to see Rose return one day - preferably on the main roster - alongside Toxic Attraction and dominate RAW or SmackDown. But for now, we'll just have to wait and see... #ThankYouMandy 🌹

As 2022 draws to an end, I would like to present who I believe is the MVP of the year, none other than... the current RAW Women's Champion, Bianca Belair! This had undoubtely been the year of the EST and for good reason! From winning the Elimination Chamber to finally defeating Becky Lynch to having many iconic title defenses, Bianca Belair has done it all. Just like 2021, Belair has had yet another stellar year. When she won the Rumble in 2021, she never looked back, having already two championship victories — both at WrestleMania — under her belt. She's defeated 3/4 of the WWE 4 Horsewomen, competed in many stipulation matches, succesfully captained her team in WarGames, have held the RAW Women's Title at an impressive 266 days, won a Last Woman Standing, a Ladder match, triple threats and so much more. From defeating the likes of Becky Lynch, Bayley, Asuka, Damage CTRL, Doudrop, Carmella, Nikki Cross and more, the EST is single-handedly the face of the women's divisions in not just WWE, but all of professional wrestling.

Tonight, Lacey Evans finally returns after a year-long hiatus away as she steps into the ring against Xia Li in a MITB qualifying match. I'm super excited to see Evans finally back in action! Honestly, there's no way Lacey is losing her match back but, I would much prefer Xia to be in the ladder match.

I couldn't be any more happy and excited for our reigning champions after WrestleMania weekend! This year's Mania was one of the best in recent memory - Becky and Bianca's iconic 5 star match, Charlotte managing to defeat one of the most protected women in WWE and Sasha and Naomi earning the Tag Titles, also resulting in Sasha's first Mania win and another championship in Naomi's name! And of course, Mandy Rose retaining the NXT Women's Title alongside with Raquel Gonzalez & Dakota Kai successfully reuniting to capture - once again - the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships! I'm definitely going to be keeping up with RAW, SmackDown and NXT 2.0. weekly moving forward.

Happy Mania Day! I personally think it's so interesting how our two Women's Title bouts previously ended in disqualification - Bianca vs Becky at ER'21 and Charlotte vs Ronda back at SS'18. I'm super excited for the two title matches tonight. I'm rooting for Bianca and Charlotte!

I've been seeing a lot of Becky Lynch praise the past few months and rightfully so! I'm happy she's finally having a good reign instead of a dreadful, stale reign. She's elevated mid-card talents like Liv Morgan and Doudrop in PPV matches, and even had a showing with a Hall of Famer in Lita! To say I'm enjoying the "Big Time Becks" character would be an understatement. I'm most looking forward for her match at WrestleMania with Bianca!

After catching myself up to date on RAW & SmackDown from the past couple of weeks, I can say with confidence, I am so looking forward for this year's WrestleMania! Sure, there's only 3 matches but with the slim divisions on both RAW & SD, WWE definitely are giving us the best matches possible. From Ronda Rousey vs Charlotte Flair in the main event to a story that writes itself in Becky Lynch vs Bianca Belair and to the star-studded Fatal-4-Way Tag Team Titles match, we are being fed! I'm also super happy with how they're including Zelina Vega & Carmella, Liv Morgan, Rhea Ripley, Naomi, Shayna Baszler - superstars whose future were uncertain - onto the card aswell! Also, with the rumours of a possible Women's Battle Royale with the remaining roster and even some NXT call ups, this year's event is a show you can't miss out on.

Thinking about Charlotte Flair's iconic looks & entrances at both WrestleMania 34 & 35. I can't wait to see what she gives us this year!
