That’s right, I’m traveling by map! Here’s where I’ll be for the rest of the year (as of right now, could squeeze one or two more in there, but you’ll be the first to know about it if I do.)

Ꮺ 𝙒𝙖𝙮𝙡𝙤𝙣 𝘼𝙨𝙥 ᝰ @wwwaylonnn at Zine Harvest on October 17! ᝰ 🪶🐺🖌️ Waylon Asp ushyē! I’m Tahltan cartoonist based in WSÁNEĆ and lək̓ʷəŋən territories (or “Victoria, BC”). For my first Zine Harvest, I’m bringing comics of all shapes and sizes including the first issue of my ongoing auto-anthology series Self Report, which tells the story of my time fighting for the WAKO Canadian National Kickboxing Championship earlier this year! Come grab some comics, prints or even a custom hand-drawn sticker. Check out my website at waylonasp.com to see more of me and my stuff! 🪶🐺🖌️ Ꮺ #ZineHarvest taken in Sun Wah Centre by @wwwaylonnn

Genuinely so funny! Waylon has such a knack for comedic timing while also filling his comics with a human heart. I always love seeing what he’s been up to and this is such a beautiful culmination! The riso elevates self report so wonderfully as well. Can not wait to see what jazz he comes out with next!

(Finally put away my suitcase from small press so I got to read @wwwaylonnn newest comic!) by @wwwaylonnn

Man! @openspacevic Small Press Fest was even more amazing than last year!! Mēduh chō to everyone who came up to my table to check out my work or just say hi. The debut of Self Report was everything I’d hoped for, and it already makes me so excited for the next issue.

Self Report #1: Champions Bounce is on the shelves of @legendscomicssales ! Many thanks to @gareth_gaudin for all you do for local cartoonists. You can also find my books at @lost_doll_comics and @inkys_art_space !!

…AND @martialartsunlimitedkickboxing !! Thank you so much @danaleah123 and @greg_lamothe_ for your continued support. If you train combat sports or just think fight scenes are cool, there may be something in here for you!

These three seem to agree!

I thought Primetime was solid, nothing spectacular

That’s right! I’ll be selling so many books and prints at @comicartsla this December!! I am posting super early purely because of how immensely stoked I am to be accepted and to have a chance to head back to my first hometown. I didn’t grow up in Glendale but it’s close enough, plus the show is across the street from @thepitla which is also sick.

special preview exciting thing (the first of many books i’ll bring)

another preview of a favorite story of mine
