PRINCESS DARIA

Adult life is increasingly marketed as a set of inflated symbols: money, love, status, success. But desire cannot be confined to ready-made images. Following them, it’s easy to lose the right to be funny, naive, and still undecided. This series is about the longing for that part of ourselves that still knows how to play, about the legitimacy of awkwardness as a way to remain true to ourselves. At some point, we stopped dreaming and started collecting the symbols of our dreams.

Взрослая жизнь все чаще продается как набор надувных символов: деньги, любовь, статус, успех. Но желание невозможно закрыть готовыми образами. За ними легко потерять право быть смешной, наивной и еще не определившейся.
Эта серия — о тоске по той части себя, которая еще умеет играть, о легитимности неловкости как способе остаться собой. В какой-то момент мы перестали мечтать и начали коллекционировать символы мечты.
