Where Nirmal Tamang’s home and dance studio once stood, there is now only rubble.

Nirmal is a choreographer who taught children in Trishuli Bazar. In this short documentary, he takes us through the devastation and speaks about the importance of giving children affected by the flood a space to escape through art, creativity and play.

At Metal For Nepal, we believe in the power of art. We hope to support Nirmal to rebuild, stand back on his feet and continue doing what he loves — while creating spaces for children to heal through art.

Rebuilding isn’t just about buildings. It’s about rebuilding dreams.

the beginnings of an after school program in Hetauda, Nepal🇳🇵

it’s monsoon season in Nepal and this day was no different. we spent an afternoon inside with the kids here. @wygfoundation when it’s not rainy the program also has games and activities to do outside the school ✨

i tried to convince the group to go outside in the rain and everyone laughed at me 😂

Update: for the last 3 days the team and I have been scouting out a safe path for us to travel for next weeks relief effort. Roads are still broken, bridges are still half-built…
but we know this needs to be done so were not waiting.

the water project, building a fresh water well in a remote village in Nepal🇳🇵@wygfoundation

on this day the local community showed us the hike they take to access the closest water source, 45 minutes away, on foot. kids will often take on the role of fetching water for their families. and it’s monsoon season in Nepal where the weather decided to monsoon on our way to the source. an experience and journey i’ll never forget ✨

we’re excited to announce we built a water well in Nepal!

officially inaugurated on August 30, 2026

Wherever You Go Foundation provided clean drinking water to this community, witnessing the community reaction and gratitude from them directly knowing what it means to their daily basis is what drives us to push even more and help even further communities all over the world.

we have an amazing team to help capture the progress on the ground as we work toward our goals

the local community showed us the original hike they take to access the closest water source, 45 minutes away, on foot.

...help us change that, forever.

our team captured the community on one of the leprosy colonies we support, together we will keep spreading awareness showcasing the reality they face every day.

for some of this kids, we were the reason they tasted apples for the first time.

beyond the support we provide, spending quality time with every member of our programs is just as important to us.
