Every athlete’s worst heartbreak.💔❌🇹🇭It’s not the slams nor lost. It’s being ready to put on the show of your life and having your body hit a wall you can’t skate over with heat stroke🌡️Chayce as a newbie qualified 12th out of 47 in the AM Open prelim at Thailand X Fest to reach final, skating against Asia’s finest national team riders and adults. He was ready to put up a show for the final. He had the podium in his sights. But at 102°F (38°C) in Thailand 🇹🇭, biology had other plans.That cross-signal to the judges was the hardest move he’s ever made. The tears 💔in the medical tent weren’t from the heat stroke; they were for the show he didn't get to finishYou can’t coach this kind of fire. As a father, it’s a tough watch. Dust off the classics. 🖤 My Ricoh GRD III has been sitting in my camera bag for 10 years, I pulled it out this morning and remembered exactly why I kept it.f/1.9 lens. Zone focusing. Max ISO 1600. 英國潮牌 @palaceskateboards 無預告下，宣佈今年開設香港旗艦店。同時，香港設計中心 HKDC 亦正在舉行「樂板—躍進滑板文化節奏」展覽，展示香港滑板手的「板仔精神」，延伸至塗鴉創作與街頭藝術、時裝潮流與音樂等。現在正是時候回顧香港的滑板歷史！在 90 年代，有「香港滑板教父」之稱、在香港土生土長的 Warren Stuart @wzahk ，和日本滑手 Tatsushi “Tabo” Kagaya 成立了香港第一家由滑手開設的滑板店 BFD（全稱：Big Fxxking Deal），店鋪位於尖沙咀金巴利道 50 號地下。BFD 團隊拍攝了滑板影片《Made In Hong Kong》，成為香港滑板歷史的珍貴記錄，片段中的滑手為 Miguel Rosales 和 Rocky Ng，是香港第一代職業滑手，為香港滑板開拓先河，而兩人亦分別於法國和澳洲成為職業運動員。2001 年，香港第一個滑板場 YMCA 滑板場在 Warren Stuart 的努力下建成，他還參與了荔枝角公園、柴灣池畔花園、美孚等多個滑板場的建設。同年，Stuart 創立香港極限運動聯合會，並擔任主席，進一步匯聚香港的滑板愛好者，至今持續推動香港合規、高質素滑板場的興建，為滑手們爭取更好的運動環境，亦曾擔任香港職業滑板代表隊總教練至 2024 年。@psyroot_hk @hkdesigncentre @palaceskateboards @8five2shop #skateboarding #mingsbro #mingsbrostyle by @wzahk
