On a whim I decided to attempt my very first half marathon

I’ve never done anything more than 6 miles prior to this and hit a heavy leg workout the day before, but whimsy called and I had to answer

I feel like this was a very realistic journey through a half marathon unlike the ones I see some runners post. A whirlpool of emotions but it goes to show how much you can achieve when you put your mind to it

Another reminder to do hard things. You’ll surprise yourself!

2025 was by far the most painful year of existence.

But with that came the most loved, supported, and connected I have ever felt.

From living and chasing a dream for 5 long years to traveling the world in search of who I was meant to become after leaving it all behind. I’m eternally grateful for the tears I shed in 2025.

To 2026, I have no expectations for you. Just know that I’ll be living in the moment no matter what you throw at me.
