This morning heaven gained my favorite angel. If you know me you know I am not a religious person however I do believe that god gave my papa the best life possible and gave him the strength to fight for as long as he did. When I was 16, he told me that he would be there for my senior night, and he was. He told me he would be there for my graduation even if he was in a wheel chair, and he walked in and was there. God gave him the strength to be there for his family and the strength to walk through life. And when the time was right, when my papa was filled with peace, called him home.
A year ago, papa was diagnosed with cancer, he had a small chance of living but he defied all odds and lived for another year. My papa was a fighter, from the day he was born he fought for everything he had, that fight didn’t die down when he got sick. If anything he fought harder.
My papa taught me strength, discipline, and courage. Everyday he lived by those principles and I will follow in his footsteps. I walk with his strength, love, and kindness, to honor him. I will miss you everyday papa. I love you so much papa. by @x.taylor.h

It’s official! Thank you to everyone that came out today, I’m so grateful.

Thank you to my family, teammates, coaches, teachers, and friends for supporting me and my journey. And a huge thank you to the coach that didn’t let my senior year be the last time I’ll step on the court.
