The rain hides a lot of things, regret, old friends, enemies, even people you once called family. Rain donā€™t just fall from the skyā€¦ it washes the cityā€™s secrets down the gutters. And tonight the whole city feels like itā€™s confessing I always liked rainy nights. They remind me of being a kid. Riding bikes through puddles, sliding down wet sidewalks like we owned the world, when the street lights came on, that being the signal to run home. Back then the rain felt like freedom. Now it feels like a distant memory. Funny how life works. As kids we played outside in the rain. As menā€¦ we hide in it. Rain is the only thing in this city that doesnā€™t ask questions. It just falls. Just like consequences. Sitting in the carā€¦ watching the drops race down the window like theyā€™re trying to escape the night. My hand rests heavy on the gun. Cold metal. The kind of weight that changes a manā€™s life the moment he touches it. Numb. Not scared anymore. Justā€¦ numb. This is, people hear ā€œbody countā€ and think about love. About passion. About moments under dim lights and tangled sheets. But where Iā€™m fromā€¦ that phrase means something else. And once that meaning changesā€¦ so does everything inside you. The first time you hold something that powerfulā€¦ youā€™re nervous. Your mind racing with questions. Am I ready for this? What if I mess up? What if Iā€™m not built for this world? The same kind of questions a boy asks himself the first time he thinks heā€™s becoming a man. But life is strange. What once terrified youā€¦ eventually becomes familiar. Like a storm. Once youā€™ve stood in it so many times, you stop trying to stay dry. After a whileā€¦ you stop asking questions. You just learn how to survive the rain. Some nights the bottle reminds you who you used to be. That kid riding bikes in the rain. Laughing at nothing. Running home before the street lights came on. Other nightsā€¦ the bottle reminds you exactly why that kid had to disappear. People think one hurts more than the other. The memories. Or the reasons you had to change. Truth is, once you step into this lifeā€¦ pain stops having different flavors. Everything starts to taste the same. Iā€™m not a bad person. I just made bad decisions. by @x2ce.sl

Before the studio lightsā€¦ there was a toy mic, cracked speakers, and big dreams. Just 2 kids on a doorstep, rolling dice and talking about ā€œone day.ā€ No money. No plan. Just belief and each other. Thatā€™s all they needed tho, and that was their only rule, Never leave each other behindā€¦ And they meant it. But every loss taught them something. How to stand tall. How to lean on each other. How to love themselvesā€¦ even when the world didnā€™t. And somehow, through it allā€¦ they never broke that promise. That was us. Now look at us. City lights, fast cars, and sold-out shows. From rolling dice on the porchā€¦ to rolling through cities we only seen in movies. I wont lie, the music changed our livesā€¦ but it will never change us. At the end of every show, every flight, every winā€¦ itā€™s still two friends, looking at each other like ā€œWe really made it.ā€ Album coming soonā€¦ by @x2ce.sl
