I’ve recovered more freedom in my creative practice with intuitive art making. Lately, this approach has been balancing to my usual desire to exercise my technical skills. I really appreciate the releasing of expectations for outcomes and pressure often I put on myself. I’ve found this to be therapeutic to my relationship with my practice. by @x718_

This is a new piece that I’ve been working on that’s abstract. The figures I’m painting emerge as beings, stars and also like neurons. Painting the exploration of the beautiful mirroring within; us, the cosmos and consciousness. Everything is energy—just expressing itself differently. That’s what the stars are in my art. You’ll be seeing a lot more of them! 🫶🏽✨ by @x718_

Some of the Intuitive art I’ve been making over the year. The star-like figures are representative of the movement of energy and the undeniable interconnectedness of everything. What’s been ur favorite one? by @x718_

“Forget about enlightenment.
Sit down wherever you are
And listen to the wind singing in your veins.
Feel the love, the longing, and the fear in your bones.
Open your heart to who you are, right now,
Not who you would like to be.
Not the saint you’re striving to become.
But the being right here before you, inside you, around you.
All of you is holy.
You’re already more and less
Than whatever you can know.
Breathe out, touch in, let go.”
~John Welwood

“All of you is holy” 👏🙂‍↕️ honor all of you and give yourself permission to wherever you are on ur journey.
Acknowledge aspects of you thrown in your shadow.

And remember that spiritual practices aren’t practices preserved for the enlightened. They are tools that create the environment conducive to one’s journey towards enlightenment.

Side note: the plants and herbs I draw in my art are intentional and I’m probably going to use the ones I spotted in my next piece. Also the henna I drew on myself really makes me feel like I resemble the goddesses in my art more. Comment a ✨ if you agree. by @x718_

A new way of painting energy and the metaphysical body for me are with these star like beings ❤️ some of my new art includes these figures but you’ll see more of it in my work going forward. 💫

All these pieces are unfinished atm. Progress and finished work will be seen by patreons and subscribers first. by @x718_
