🤍 A heartfelt plea for my daughter 🤍

My daughter, Foré, at age 25, was diagnosed with Stage 5 kidney disease in August. Overnight, her life changed completely. She now has to undergo dialysis three times a week permanently until she can receive a kidney transplant.

Before all this, Foré was chasing her dreams — working hard, building her future, and lighting up every room with her kindness. She has so much life ahead of her.

But right now, she needs a living kidney donor to have that future.

🤍 UPDATE: Foré Found Her Kidney Hero 🤍

Friends and family,

We are overwhelmed in the very best way.
When we shared Foré’s story, we had no idea how far your love would reach. The messages, the shares, the prayers, the phone calls, every single one of them carried us through some of our hardest days. From the very bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU. You showed up for our family in a way we will never forget.
And because of YOU… Foré has found her kidney hero. 🙏🏽

We are overjoyed and humbled to share that Foré has a donor match and is scheduled to receive her transplant next month. We are still pinching ourselves. This is nothing short of a miracle, and it would not have happened without this village.

Now, we have one more ask.

Her donor is an incredibly selfless, generous soul who is giving Foré the greatest gift imaginable, the gift of life. As a living donor, this person will need time away from work to recover, and that comes with very real financial costs. If you’ve been looking for a way to give back or pay it forward, this is it.

Today marks two incredible milestones in your life. Turning 18 is the beginning of a new chapter filled with opportunities, independence, and exciting adventures. Graduating high school is proof of your hard work, determination, and growth through the years.
