When @jevonspeaks and I began planning the Uncomplicated Leadership Conference, we knew we had to select not just great speakers, but industry experts and leaders who are living and breathing this work daily.

We wanted to ensure that our attendees wouldn’t just get motivation and “rah-rah”, but substance and depth about how to lead well.

The hip hop storyteller and poet, 2 Chainz, has quite the prolific line that states…”They Ask me what I do, and who I do it for..” and that line always crossed my mind before I step on a stage.

I do it for those people who weren’t taught it

I do it for those who are untraditional yet learning

I do it for those who feel burnt out and burdened.

I do it for the young ones that need guidance.

I do it for those who need to activate their regimen

I do it for those people who think it’s inaccessible

I do it for myself because I’m human and need reminders

Wellness is the fabric of my villain origin story and my duty is to empower individuals to take change and design their wellness journey.

I will be forever grateful for friends that speak my names in the rooms that I’m not in, and serve as an advocate. 🙏🏾

Last year, I set a personal goal to facilitate five corporate wellness workshops and by Gods grace, I’m almost there!🔥

I recently had the opportunity to spend time with two dynamic Employee Resource Groups at Williams, leading a conversation on Creating a Culture of Wellness: Supporting Our Whole Selves at Work. We explored what it looks like to prioritize wellness not as an afterthought, but as a foundation for stronger teams, healthier workplaces, and better performance.

Thank you for creating space for conversations that help people show up as their best selves both professionally and personally. I honestly can’t wait to come back.

I have one ask though….if you’re reading this and your organization brings in speakers for workshops, trainings, lunch-and-learns, leadership development, or wellness initiatives, I’d love to partner with you. Helping people thrive is what I do.

As a speaker for me the mission remains the same to empower individuals to not only lead well, live well, and perform at their highest level.

Speaking at ParaCon 2026, allowed me to remind the Fulton County Schools paraprofessionals that the impact they have on students’ lives starts with how they take care of themselves.

Their approach to prioritizing their wellness is directly connected to how they show up for their students.

We danced, we laughed, we brought the energy, good vibes, and walked away with personal action steps necessary to live holistically well.

The truth is, when we choose to show up whole, rested, and intentional, you don’t just do your job better, you change lives more effectively.

This is your reminder that wellness is not an afterthought. It should be the foundation of how we move, live, and have our being.

I am looking for more opportunities to engage with groups and organizations to talk about wellness in a fun and engaging way. Message me if your team could benefit from this experience.

I’ve been having a lot of conversations recently centered on imposter syndrome, people feeling inadequate or just double consciousness. I wholeheartedly believe that we all share those feelings, even the most confident people - yet we can overcome them.

There’s no greater feeling than to be recognized by your pastor for your contributions to society. In my adulthood I’ve come to recognize that my spiritual gift is connecting others and bringing people together.

I can remember when I was a young adult, my childhood friends, college friends, and cousins used to all hang out with me being the common denominator.

In my personal and professional life, I’m always seeking to connect people whose synergies are similar, and who needs to know each other.

I do the most. I do a lot, and I am pretty unapologetic about that. That is my superpower, and my area of genius truly comes to life when I am on stage.

If you don’t watch anything today, I need you to check out this video 👀

I was so nervous! Fear and doubt tried to rear their ugly heads, but then, when I stepped on that stage, I was reminded that I was born to speak on stages!

This is significant because keynoting at the Texas Association of School Psychologists just so happened to be my largest audience to date!

Wellness. Leadership. Resilience. Purpose.

Every single time I hear students reflect like this, it reminds me why I do what I do. It’s never about me, it’s about the impact. About showing up, speaking life, and letting God do the rest. These are the moments that keep me fueled. The smiles. The breakthroughs. The shift in their voices. That’s purpose. That’s legacy in motion.

Greatness begets greatness!
Empowering these young boys of color for their boys day was truly an honor. Seeing the light in their eyes, the excitement in their movements and hearing the energy they had when we chanted DJ Khalid’s song “All I do is Win” is the driving force in truly me getting the chance to operate in my purpose. When was the last time you did something you were created to do? My calendar is still open to be booked for any camps and youth programs for the summer. 😎

Being a road map for those that will come behind you truly is a hack and one of the keys to purpose and ultimately, life. It was an honor to present to the students, faculty and staff at @southwesternau
The students were great and I had the opportunity to train their student leaders later that day for a leadership intensive that will truly propel them to do amazing things in school, their communities and even within their families.
