This was VERY personal…. Magna Cum Laude 🍾 I did it! & I did it in 3 years 👩🏽‍🎓 As I reflect on the past few months, I wanted to give up so bad. It’s been a rough ride but through all the adversity, losses, challenges, and everything good in between that kept me going, I can say I’ve made it! 🥳 My biggest motivation, as well as my biggest loss, I wouldn’t have made it this far without my daddy and everything he instilled in me before he passed. One of the last thing my daddy told me was “In order for you to win, you gotta lose sometimes , that’s just life”, and never did I think that meant Id lose him. I am forever grateful to say as much I wanted to give up and how much my heart longs for my daddy everyday, it has made me into the strongest, smartest, most caring version of myself I could ask for. There is always a tougher battle to fight but for every loss, a win is short to come! To all my family and friends who have seen what i’ve gone through, know how hard i’ve worked, all the late night cries, and the smiles i’ve had amidst it all…. Thank you 🤍🤍💙💙 you all are greatly appreciated and it doesn’t go unnoticed 🥺🤞🏼 Special Shout-out to my pretty puppy, Nova Roxanne, really been my best friend through it all! 💗 Thank you again to everyone who has congratulated me and will continue to do so on my next journey in life. 🥂🥂🥂🤍 Alexis S. Class of 2022 👩🏽‍🎓😚 Double Major in Criminal Justice and Sociology with a minor in Psychology 🤩🤩 Thank you to Old Dominion University for the B.S and all the great memories that came with it 🍾🍾💙🤍🦁 #reignon #monarchsforever #odu #odugrad taken in Old Dominion University by @xaleexiis
