Worlds 2025 🌍☘️
To be completely and brutally honest, I was not expecting the placement that I ended with. But then, when I took a step back, I realized how far I’ve come and how much work and dedication I had to put into this sport just to get back to this World’s stage. I am very proud of how I danced and I do not want a placement to decide how I feel as a dancer. I know that it is a challenge to come back after so much that I’ve been through and I congratulate my age group for being such great competitors. It is very difficult and it will continue to be difficult but that is a challenge that I’m willing to face, not even just with dance but with all aspects of life. I also had to remind myself that I was balancing many different hobbies with dance as I was preparing for Worlds. I cannot and will not let one placement dictate how I feel with dance and I will continue to work and get better.
Congratulations to all of my competition and all of the dancers competing at the World Championships this year. Thank you to the entire Irish dance community for being so supportive. 🖤💛 taken in Dublin, Ireland by @xander_janowski
