Senior recital!! Here are some highlights! The first two videos are from my original tune Blood Bank. The marimba piece is Caleidoscopio by Gene Koshinski, and the snare piece is Prím by Askell Masson. That snare piece is probably the hardest piece of music I’ve ever prepared, but I think it turned out very well. I wasn’t too happy directly afterwards with how I played, but after going back and listening to everything I’m actually quite happy with how I played! Big thank you to Claretta Larson, Prof Andreini, and Prof Toma for helping me plan and prepare this recital. Also thank you to Jacob Herring, Henry Giddens, and Austin Efflandt for helping with the combo tunes. So much more I could say but…it’s finally over!! Time to lock in for the rest of the semester!! by @xanderwebbdrums

Some rushed downbeats and uneven sixteenth notes scattered throughout, but overall this groove is feeling nice in the hands #drums #jamesbrown #funk by @xanderwebbdrums
