This portrait is inspired by the Goddess Artemis.

After a long time of drawing and I felt a lack of inspiration to draw something...the goddess Artemis gave me the inspiration...in the midst of a dedication to the Goddess that I happened to watch.

It also happens that the goddess Artemis is one of my favorite goddesses and so are her archetypal characteristics.

From time to time we all have more or less characteristics from different archetypes.

And i always feel a special connection with goddess Artemis who has dedication to female sisterhood, connection with the natural environment and the cycles of the moon.

My Venus!

This portrait is inspired by the enchanting and much loved portrait of the birth of Venus by Botticelli. 💚

But also inspired by the time that for me, spring, is one of the most beautiful times of the year.

Aphrodite is my favorite goddess and if you ask me which goddess comes to mind first I will tell you: Aphrodite!

Maybe because for me beauty and love are among the most important things in life and I want to be surrounded by them since I can remember myself!

Besides, unlimited love and beauty never hurt anyone!

So...

Long live the goddess!

Goddess Rhea
The one that flows
She who flows life
The mother of mothers
The first view of cosmogony
The patroness of femininity
The archetype of the Great Mother
The Mother of Dia The Rhea in us...

What we need most now is to find again...this motherhood within us, to give this motherhood to our inner child and then to the world outside of us, to the little children who need it so much warmth, love, gentleness, companionship, cooperation, tenderness, warmth, calm and all the precious gifts of motherhood in their education as they grow up. But also to the adults who did not grow up with her to find her again, to feel, to remember, to be comforted and look of her in their self!

Orphic Hymn of Rhea:

Frankie has officially been promoted from tiny detail to main character. 🐾

After appearing as a small figure in my paintings, he finally has a portrait of his own.

And I think he's quite pleased with the result.

I love drawing animals because each one has a personality, a unique expression, and a special place in someone's heart.

So, if your furry companion also believes they deserve their own portrait (and I'm sure they do), I'd love to draw them.

In a world that mostly teaches children to obey and follow rules, abstract art becomes their ultimate space of freedom.

With my students this week, we did a unique exercise. We used only one color: black.
But across different textures and mediums.
Pencil, marker, crayon, and acrylics.
This process isn't just about painting.
It’s a way to keep the creative side of their brain active.
It teaches them to trust their intuition, experiment without the fear of making a 'mistake,' and develop critical thinking.
Because at their age, creativity... is their superpower."

I don't teach children art only so they can learn how to draw.

I want them to experience what happens when we create without being afraid of making mistakes.
To make choices.
To experiment.
To get curious.
To express something.
To listen.
To collaborate.
To try again.

For me, art is not only about the final image.
It is also about everything that happens while we are creating.
That's why my workshops are experiential and adapted to each child's interests, age and way of seeing the world.
I want every child to have the space to discover something of their own.
Maybe an idea.
Maybe a feeling.
Maybe a new way of looking at something.
And sometimes, maybe a new way of looking at themselves. 🌱

This work became a visual diary of entire winter.

I kept adding fragments of what surrounded me-animals,, memor, places,, no observations and things I was trying to understand.

I wasn't trying to make everything fit perfectly together.

I was recording a period of my life.

And somewhere inside of all that, Frankie appeared too.

Because sometimes the things that are beside us every day quietly become part of our visual language.

Apparently, he believes he deserved more space 😂💚

I create because there are things I cannot say with words.

Thinks I feel.
Thanks I question.
Thanks I don't always understand.

I found them in color,, about this, nature, in silence.

My work explores family-what does it fixed idea of what a woman should be, but as a human quality.

Softness. Strength. Desire. Connection. Freedom.

I create symbolic forms because I want them to become more than one person.

Perhaps you would see a woman.
Perhaps you will see yourself.
Perhaps you will simply feel something.

This is the world I am creating.
A world of color, nature, feminity, creativity and enjoy.

From what cannot be said ,I create forms.

Art won't magically solve all your problems, nor will it fix your life overnight.
But it can absolutely become your ultimate safe haven.

Picking up a paintbrush, writing on a blank page, shaping clay, or just messing around with colors doesn't require a manual.

You don't need talent, and you definitely don't need an expert telling you if what you are doing is "right" or "wrong."

Ο ΜΠΛΑΝΚΟ ΨΑΧΝΕΙ ΤΟ ΣΠΙΤΙ ΤΟΥ 🤍

Ο Μπλάνκο είναι ένα μικρό λευκό αγόρι, περίπου 2 ετών και 12 κιλών.

Βρέθηκε αδέσποτος στο χωριό όταν ήταν ακόμη κουτάβι.
Από τότε έχει μάθει να επιβιώνει μόνος του στον δρόμο.
Έχει περάσει δύσκολες καταστάσεις, έχει μετακινηθεί από το κέντρο του χωριού όταν δημιουργήθηκαν αγέλες και τελικά βρήκε καταφύγιο κοντά σε ένα σπίτι, όπου έκανε και μια πολύ καλή φίλη, μια γλυκιά σκυλίτσα.
Όμως ο δρόμος παραμένει δρόμος. Και οι κίνδυνοι είναι πολλοί.
Ο Μπλάνκο είναι εξαιρετικά γλυκός και φιλικός με ανθρώπους, παιδιά και άλλα ζώα.
Είναι ήρεμος, υγιέστατος,συνεργάσιμος και δείχνει να προσαρμόζεται πολύ καλά και σε ιδιωτικό/εσωτερικό χώρο.
Δεν λερώνει μέσα και γενικά έχει πολύ καλή συμπεριφορά.
Είναι ήδη αποπαρασιτωμένος και πολύ σύντομα θα είναι και στειρωμένος.

Αυτό που χρειάζεται τώρα δεν είναι άλλο ένα μέρος για να μείνει προσωρινά.
Χρειάζεται ένα σπίτι.
Μια οικογένεια.
Έναν άνθρωπο που θα τον αγαπήσει, θα τον προστατεύσει και θα του δώσει τον χρόνο που χρειάζεται για να προσαρμοστεί.
Χρειάζεται μια υπεύθυνη υιοθεσία, με ανθρώπους που θα αναλάβουν τη φροντίδα του, την εκπαίδευσή του όπου χρειάζεται και κυρίως θα του προσφέρουν ασφάλεια, σταθερότητα και αγάπη για όλη του τη ζωή.

Ο Μπλάνκο είναι ένα μικρό πλάσμα που έχει σταθεί πολύ δυνατό μέχρι σήμερα.
Τώρα είναι η σειρά κάποιου να σταθεί δυνατός για εκείνον. 🤍

🎨 Και υπάρχει κάτι ακόμη ξεχωριστό:
Έχω ζωγραφίσει το πορτρέτο του Μπλάνκο και θέλω να το χαρίσω στον άνθρωπο/στην οικογένεια που θα τον υιοθετήσει, ως ένα μικρό ενθύμιο της ημέρας που ο Μπλάνκο θα βρει επιτέλους το σπίτι του.
