The 10th edition of #WorldCircularEconomyForum kicks off this week 🌍

WCEF brings together the global circular economy community, innovators, policymakers and businesses working to redesign how we use the world's resources. This year the forum is in Gandhinagar, India.

Natural State and Nordic Circular Hotspot is there, represented by Cathrine Barth. We're looking forward to bringing a Nordic perspective, connecting with the global community, and sharing insights from the ground in India over the coming days.

Du er en solid jubilant. Hurra for deg 🎂🎉 by @xathrine

The EV revolution is coming to Africa. The question is how it is built. 🌍⚡️

This week we joined the Nordic Africa EVs Summit in Oslo — nearly 80 participants, close to half from the African continent, for a day of conversations that genuinely deserved the word: inspiring.

The African Union has just adopted its Continental Electric Mobility Framework — with materials and value chains as a core pillar. Africa has a rare chance to leapfrog — building mobility systems that are not just renewable in energy, but regenerative in materials. Circular economy is not an add-on. It is part of the architecture.

As our Co-founder Cathrine Barth said in the room:

"Electric mobility transition is not about the vehicles and their energy — it is very much about their materials, their systems and their value chains."

Thank you to Natalie Bridgette Becker-Aakervik, Mikkel Becker-Aakervik and Solveig Tangen / Norwegian-African Business Association (NABA) for making it happen. Onward to Addis Ababa and COP32 in 2027.

Takk til alle samarbeidspartnere, lokalsamfunn og fagmiljøer vi har jobbet med i år. Vi føler oss veldig heldige og ser frem til året som kommer. God jul og godt nytt år fra oss i Natural State ❤️ 🎆 by @xathrine
