I’m the type of person to say “let’s try somewhere new to eat!” Then go to a spot I’ve been to 1000 times 💀

New environment calls for new eats, come along with me to @goddessbaker located in the Bucktown / Wicker park area in Chicago.

I came for something quick to eat but ended up seeing a LOT of different options they provide! I ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap minus the buffalo sauce (I’m not a spicy fan) and tbh the buffalo sauce is probably what makes the sandwich!

I was tempted to get a cupcake bc I have the biggest sweet tooth for cakes.

They even have a nice upstairs area with indoor and outdoor seating! Perfect for work days 💻

Visiting Chicago and need dinner recommendations?
Let’s talk about my experience at @virtuerestaurantchi 🍽️

On the menu :

🍷 Strawberry margarita - this had a burst of flavor and the alcohol didn’t overpower , I still had a great buzz!

🥖 Honey glazed biscuits app - Great snack! I asked for a little more honey to dip the bread in. The biscuits were moist and had a semi crunchy shell *perfection*. This app came with an ice cream inspired cheese scoop - a perfect match for someone who loves Cheeze!

🍣 Salmon was the main dish - I forget what all they had on the plate but it expanded my taste buds ! They added fruit for a slightly energizing taste ~

🍴Mac and cheese , collard greens - Both flavorful especially the greens! The wide portions are shareable so make sure you bring someone to share these with ;)

👨🏽‍🍳 The customer service was pleasant! My server was very attentive and ensured I was taken care of throughout my reservation. Other staff also left a pleasurable experience. Reservations are highly encouraged !!
