Still can’t believe I’m graduating.
But the best part was not the diploma. It was the people I have met that have been so extraordinary that calling them friends would be an insult… because they are my family. I love all of you and cannot thank you enough for the enjoyment I’ve had through these four years. taken in Sun Valley High School by @xavier.ss_

Very late first meet recap:

Was an absolutely amazing experience and extremely positive. This sport is so much more than what you will see online and I encourage everyone to come out and compete or come watch a meet to see the environment and just how positive it is.
Massive thanks to @bfglifting @pwrbldgym @ct_whitney for pushing through scrutiny and putting on the meet.
Had a good performance went 7/9 got 2nd place out of 16/17 year old 75kg lifters, and set a new deadlift state record for my age and weight class

Squat: went 3/3 and hit 347, went conservative for the third attempt after a wonky second attempt.
Bench: went 2/3 hit 232 on my second, jumped to 242 and just wasn’t there
Deadlift: went 2/3 opened at 495 (about 15LBS above the previous state record) then jumped to 530 for my second and it moved well. Went for a pr on my third attempt and got CLAMPED.
1108lbs total and weighed in at 74.4kg
362 dots

Also cannot thank @goldlokz enough for coaching me through this prep and meet. And look forward to making these third attempts openers shortly.

Also thanks everyone that supported me throughout especially @julian__diehl
