Came out swinging hoping to see how I hold up against the best in the world. I was prepared to take the hits, proud to have stayed up on my feet (mostly). Trail is a whole other beast which I can’t wait to learn from and discover new ways to push myself.

The runner’s vacation: find a spot where »

It’s hard to breath
The roads are soft
The air is cold, dry, and the sun slaps so hard the rocks turn red😎
Vibes are high (7000’)

In a year filled with doubt, closed doors and disappointments, I can stand on the other side and say new doors will always open.

With the freedom to pursue appealing aspects of running some believed couldn’t contribute to performance, I’d like to say, happiness will bring you a long way.

Man, what a challenging first season it’s been. Times were rough, lows were low. So many times my head wanted to quit, but it’s a lot easier to quit on yourself then on them. This team and my love for the sport kept me going.
