what started off as something i wasn't even sure about joining turned into one of the best decisions i've made. i'll always remember how @anchormanjack_ approached me at the end of grade 9 and encouraged me to give steelband a chance. little did i know that decision would lead me here. from struggling in the beginning to putting in the hours, learning guitar/backline and slowly finding my place in the performing band, this journey has taught me more than i expected. a special appreciation to my mentor @liyemamali , who constantly pushed me to do better, reminded me of what i was capable of and encouraged me to keep improving even when things weren't easy. receiving my half colours made this journey even more meaningful, showing me how much i've grown since the beginning. grateful for the people who've guided me, the lessons i've learnt, the memories we've made and every opportunity i've been given along the way. there's indeed a lot to be achieved next year. this is only the beginning. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 by @xavierjonathann

part2

So to everyone out there, my lifes been difficult but I'm not allowing that to keep me down because life is filled with ups and downs and we just have to deal with it. Some people judge when they see you for the first without knowing your story or background but don't let that affect you alright. Personally I always cared what people thought about me but realized are they are not worth it and from then I don't give a care in a world bout people that dislike me. My Dad told me whilst he was I my arms to take care of my mom and sister and did so and will still do so for my sister. Yes I've been through tough challenges but realized without God I wouldn't have been so far today really and I've met some people on the way that taught me lessons and walked out of my life and I've met people that were genuine and played a big part in my life and I'm grateful for them. God I really thank you for bringing me this far and making it possible to share my story with others out there. God thanks for everything 🙏. The people in the pic are my strengths by the way if you not there sorry I apologize in advance but the other people know who they are that I'm grateful for. I want especially say thank you to @matthew_fkeys for always standing by me as a brother and helping me find my feet in those tough times. BUT REMEMBER THIS ASWELL "Dont let your past interfere with your present/future"
Thank you guys for taking your time to read this.
