Last week, #RandyOrtiz (@randy_e_ortiz) marked his 40th anniversary with a return to men’s ready-to-wear, staging a salon runway show at the Rigodon Ballroom of @thepeninsulamanila. For #ArteFino10th (@artefinoph), #RhettEala reimagines piña beyond the traditional barong and terno with his latest collection, transforming the textile into apron tops, airy kimonos, and overskirts designed for everyday wear. “I wanted the piña to be more casual, not looked at as formal all the time,” he tells Vogue.Additionally, the designer is entering a new phase as he prepares to showcase an edited re-run of his Inherited Stories collection in Tokyo, following its debut at #BenchFashionWeek’s Threads of Dreams show.
