Happy #TriDeltaTuesday! Hear from @lucy.buhrman12 on what her friendship with @maesa_horton means to her! 🩵🩵

Maesa!!! I’m so so happy that Tri Delta brought us together!! I feel like we clicked so quickly and have so much in common, and I always have so much fun with you no matter what we’re doing. Whether it’s sharing clothes, taking pictures, or literally just napping together on my couch, I love every second of it. I appreciate all the little things, like how you always save me a seat at events, or how you know to call me when you need a ride, or how you just show up at my apartment when you’re bored. It makes me so happy that we’ve gotten close enough that you know you can always count on me for things like that. You are just so funny, silly, sweet, and beautiful, and I’m so happy I got to meet you. I already see you as a little sister, and I love that Tri Delta has given me someone I can have so much fun with and care so much about. I can’t wait for all the memories we still have to make and to keep getting closer. Love you so much!! Love, Lucy🩵

In honor of the first day of Tri Delta recruitment, here’s some establishment recruitment advice from our founding members at @uconntridelta 🩵💛

Establishment recruitment is such a unique and positive experience! Go in with an open mind and don’t be afraid to ask any questions! We can’t wait for you to be a part of our sisterhood! DLAM 🩵💛 - Dhea

My advice for any PNMs going through an Establishment Recruitment would be to keep an open mind. Getting to be part of the establishment of a chapter is really an extraordinary process, although it seems nerve-wracking at first, as you might not know what to expect. Having the opportunity to set a standard for what you want your friendships to look like and the impact you have on your community is honestly so phenomenal. Throughout the Establishment Recruitment process I was able to meet so many of the individuals who would become my closest friends and so many amazing Tri Delta alumnae. I never felt as if I wasn’t going to be at home in my chapter or miss out on the sisterhood experience. - Vittoria

My biggest piece of advice for establishing a new chapter would be to focus on building the culture and sisterhood from day one! As a Tri Delta at UConn, I’ve learned that a chapter isn’t defined by how established it is, but by the people who come together and values they share. Take the opportunity to make your chapter your own, while staying connected to the values and traditions of Tri Delta! DLAM - Madison
