You know when you meet someone, and you think the world of them, they tell you all the things you want to hear, almost as if it’s a list of what the world should be, but it’s almost too good to be true.

The promises don’t come through, the cracks start to show, and then something just flicks on, this person isn’t the same person you met in the beginning.

You see the patterns, you see the same bullshit they pulled on you, they start to pull on others, and you realise you gotta get out of there. You have to run.

I haven’t posted on social media in a while, and here’s why.

My job is social media, and sometimes ironically, yours takes a back seat. I started a new business which has taken my day to day time, but has allowed for me to have more time at night.

The last tracks I’ve released have been ok, but when you get to take a step back, and look at what really it really means to you, you get to choose the past you want to take, I want to make energetic music, with emotion and feeling, that euphoric place you get taken to when the chords and melody combine, that make you drift off to another place.

The circle you have around you, and who can give you real advice on how to get better, and move towards your goals.

I have so much new music in the works, and every time I get in to the studio, it just gets better and better.

It’s that time of year where every hardstyle head makes the journey to Defqon 1 physically or spiritually. Everything stops for this weekend. I’ll always post about it, because I’m fucking proud of it. Playing on the orange stage was at the time a huge goal, the music we were playing was unique, but it wasn’t hardstyle, it was tech trance mixed with a whole bunch of other shit, and we got so many opportunities and made some great friends. I’d always dreamed of playing there since I began my career, and it still is a goal to play a hardstyle set back in the Netherlands. I’ve done it before, so what’s to say I can’t do it again?

The perfect track for euro summer ✈️

Greece 2000 by 3 drives was one of the biggest tracks back in the day, in the club, or the n the beaches, it was everywhere.

Marcel woods was a true inspiration when I was getting in to dance music, so it is not felt right to pay respect to the past, with my take.

I was going to do that 2016 trend, but I came across this picture of me and dad in 2006, 10 years earlier, and it got me thinking about how much he supported me in the early stages of my music career. I came back to life with him for a few months and when I got there, my room was set up with my DJ gear, new records that I wanted and this @fusionrecords hoodie. I remember one day showing him a mix I did, and the look on his face 🤨🤨🤨, but that never stopped me from continuing on, and him supporting me. I know he’s in heaven and it’s him who’s giving me this passion to start again and to finish what we started. I use 3 new tracks coming out soon, one which is “Monsters” a song about not giving in to those thoughts you have about giving up, the fear we face as creatives, and embracing the support we have around us. So here’s a clip from when the track was just a WIP

This year I lost my dad to a long battle with his health, I was away, in turkey getting an operation, and I just needed him to hold on a bit longer. Almost a month later I met Tani, and I was going through the raw emotions of losing one of the closet people in my life, I knew Tani was an amazing woman, and the timing wasn’t the best, I pushed away, I needed space, but I didn’t completely let go. I knew the emotions would settle, and I messed good people around me, and she was one of them. I started writing this song and what I was feeling was expressed through the music I loved. The song came together so easily and as my 2nd release, I’m so happy with the way that it turned out. Thank you for staying.
