Bringing together a new body of paintings and drawings, Conversations in a Daydream explores themes of memory, identity, intimacy and belonging. Through figurative imagery that moves between the real and the imagined, the exhibition invites viewers into contemplative spaces shaped by personal narratives and dreamlike encounters.

Dieses Werk wird zusammen mit einer neuen Serie von Gemälden in meiner Einzelausstellung Conversations in a Daydream in der Galerie Kuchling Berlin vom 8. August bis zum 2. Oktober 2026 zu sehen sein.

Diese neuen Arbeiten sind aus flüchtigen Gedanken, imaginären Gesprächen und dem feinen Raum zwischen Erinnerung und Traum entstanden. Sie zeichnen einen Weg nach, den ich selbst nicht vollständig vorausgesehen hatte, und führen mich zu neuen Fragen, neuen Begegnungen und neuen Sichtweisen.

Ich freue mich sehr, diese Werke mit Ihnen zu teilen.

Bis zur Vernissage am 8. August in Berlin.

This piece, together with a new body of paintings, will be on view at Galerie Kuchling Berlin for my solo exhibition, Conversations in a Daydream, from 8 August to 2 October 2026.
These recent works emerged from fleeting thoughts, imagined conversations, and the delicate space between memory and dream. They trace a path I did not fully anticipate, leading me toward new questions, new encounters, and new ways of seeing.
I am excited to share them with you.

On the day the news of David Hockney's passing was announced, I spent the morning painting trees and thinking about his Normandy landscapes. A few hours later, I learned of his death. It felt like a strange and moving coincidence.
I finished this small oil portrait in gratitude for the inspiration his work has given me.
