Shout out to the person who purchased the MacBook we fixed on a previous post. This is our first device flip, and hopefully it won't be our last 💯Hit us up if you have any questions about our tech services. Inquiries are 100 percent free. This week we are available 4pm-9PM Monday-Thursday, 4pm-10pm on Fridays, and Saturdays we are usually open from 10am-2pm or 11am-3pm to take calls. However, you can text or email before those hours if you have any questions and want to set up an appointment between our available hours. We may start putting Saturday remote sessions in the rotation weekly, but we are still thinking about it. by @xennialsinit_llc

We are offering remote tech support starting at 10:00AM - 2:00PM MST. There will be a tech standing by the phone, waiting to assist you. The process will go as follows:1. You call, and we get your basic information to make the support ticket.2. We remind you about the $50 Remote support fee and ask if you still want to proceed, then we offer a listening ear so you can explain in detail the issue or issues you are experiencing.3. We confirm if you have a Windows laptop or a Macbook, to determine which remote software to proceed with.4. We start our troubleshooting; Depending if the issue isn't a quick fix and can't be resolved quickly during the phone call, you may be able to walk away from your device and continue to enjoy your day, while we troubleshoot the issue. We will call you back if there are any interruptions during the process.5. We inform you of the issue, or issues, and if there will be further steps required to resolve the issue, or not. 6. If the issue is resolved the same day, we email you the invoice to pay through whichever payment method is best for you. If not, the invoice will be put on hold and we will discuss the next steps and recommendations with you.We hope you reach out to us so that we may provide the same exceptional support that we have provided to previous clients. Shout-out to Jessica for not only letting us fix this MacBook Pro that she hasn't been able to start up, but also letting us keep it to resell it. Crazy thing is we met at a bar through a mutual friend (@shana.dav to be exact, lol). I started talking about how I'm into fixing computers, and she basically was like, "bet. I got this MacBook I have had this MacBook I haven't been able to use, and I can't get it started up." I'm not sure if those were the EXACT words but, close lol. Anyway, fast forward to yesterday. I picked up the MacBook, and yes, it wouldn't start. The OS would not update and the process wasn't perfect, as it never is, since you don't really know what you are up against until you start actively troubleshooting the issue. But, we had to run some commands through the terminal before even being able to correctly format the disk and get the MacBook to install the updated OS.Needless to say, this baby is up and running and will be prepared for resale soon enough. Hello folks 👋🏾, we are having a Black History Month deal at the moment. Buy 1 service, ANY service, and get the other service half off. Our website has all of the services we offer. However, feel free to inquire about other services since we still may be well versed in a certain service that isn't listed. One service we no longer offer is Data Recovery due to the type of Data Recovery we offered being low in demand, which was logical. It seems more people in this geographic have physical damage Data Recovery requests which requires expensive equipment we just do not have. If you want to support a black owned business this month or any month, hit us up. We are appointment only due to still holding 9-5 jobs, but we do pickups and drop offs, and some services have a next day turnaround depending on the service and/or time of pickup. Sidenote: Some issues can be resolved remotely and we can connect to your device and start troubleshooting right away. by @xennialsinit_llc

Shout out to our returning client @xoxoljxoxo. We appreciate you!So, this was a keyboard replacement that we had to go into the laptop twice for. Why? Because we are only as good as our equipment. We purchased the ifixit smart soldering iron that was SUPPOSED to work without the hub. Well, that was a fail. It would not get past 300 degrees F. Which wasn't enough to adequately melt the plastic that holds the frame to the key board and the laptop; After noticing this, we upgraded to a better soldering station, which is by @wellertools. This gets up to 700 degrees+ F so we were able to go back in, and get the frame to fit snug with no sinking in the middle. This was redone at NO charge since we not only have integrity, but because this was no fault of the client. Needless to say, the keyboard is now perfect and good as new. We did post BOTH soldering irons just to be transparent about the situation. Overall, we are glad we were able to get this replacement done and basically back to how it was from the factory 👍🏾💪🏾Note: IG's Mixed photo feature is not working on mobile phones (or maybe it is just ours lol) and is zooming EVERY picture in regardless of which setting is selected. Which takes away from the picture itself. We hope they figure this out asap and get it resolved. However, the web version of IG shows the pictures in their entirety. by @xennialsinit_llc

Tested out the @wellertools Soldering Station to see how fast it would reach the set temperature, and it was pretty fast. Now, granted this video was sped up to make it shorter, but it took about 50 seconds total to reach the set degrees. We set it for 700 degrees, but it goes over that then cools down to that temperature if that makes sense. We are excited about our new purchase and can't wait to use it for one of our projects. by @xennialsinit_llc

Shout-out to @grandeur_lathers for reaching out to us regarding a corrupted Operating System due to a physical failure of their HDD. The laptop would not boot at all before we started working on it. You can see the BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) in one of the pictures.We did a clean install of Windows 11, installed all Windows Updates that were due, replaced the damaged HDD with a 1TB SSD, added an additional 1TB m.2 Nvme, synced their Google Drive so they can access their Google Docs directly from their desktop. Due to the nature of the HDD and it having a physical failure and not a logical failure, we were unable to recover the data. Data recovery is possible, but there are some limitations to it, and we always make sure to communicate this to our clients. All in all, the laptop is back up and running, and with the updated hardware, they will be good to go for quite some time. We also give a 1 year warranty on the hardware. If it fails we will replace it free of charge, granted it was normal wear and tear within that year and not the fault of the client. We stand by this 100 percent and our word is our bond 👍🏾 by @xennialsinit_llc

Did this thorough cleaning 🪥 for a PS5 while we were out of town. Shout-out to @ohshidriley for trusting us to get the job done. There was a lot of dirt in the vents, and heatsinks. Did you know that dirt in the heatsinks can cause overheating?Also, it is recommended to keep your PS5 horizontal not vertical (flat on its side, not standing up) due to the possibility of the liquid metal leaking out. Although it is a recommendation it is ultimately up to the client aka end user what they want to do with their equipment. This cleaning was so thorough it took a few hours. Many different tools were used like @ifixit PS5 tool kit, 99% IPA, Data vac, ESD toothbrush, ESD gloves, microfiber towel, q tips, and a compressed air can.If you would like a thorough cleaning of your gaming system, hit us up.
