I haven’t posted in quite a while. Thought I didn’t really have much interesting to share. I probably still don’t, but wanted to do better about connecting with friends, old and new, and this is one way at attempting that.

Today was day 7 of our random Disney trip.

I experienced the amazing benefit of being able to work remotely on occasion and work during the day and join up with the family and enjoy the parks at night. It’s been a nice break from the normal without needing to use up PTO.

Life’s pretty nice when this is what you’re up to after work.

I’m beyond excited to announce I joined @fanduel as a Product Design Senior Manager! I’ve wanted to work in sports for a long time and this is an opportunity to work on some super cool products with @fdsportsbook! I started last week and it’s been awesome so far. I know 2020 is a year many will want to forget. For us, it was a tough year but one I’m extremely grateful for. We had to make many tough choices and go through some grueling physical and emotional steps along the way.

However, it’s ultimately led to us to a place, both physically and mentally, that I’m very glad to be in. It’s led me to be the happiest and most content I’ve probably been in years.

It’s been a year for everybody. I’m grateful for a place our family can call home (not at this lake) after a year of being all over the place. I’m grateful for our kids and their constant a ability to drive us a little bit insane while keeping us laughing the whole way. I’m grateful for friends and coworkers that have helped me during uncertain job situations. 2021 is going to be the turnaround year. Happy Thanksgiving! by @xenoabe
