XERF has officially landed in Belgravia and of course I was one of the first to jump on the treatment couch...

XERF is a multifrequency monopolar radiofrequency treatment designed to improve skin firmness and early laxity by delivering controlled heat at different tissue depths. In simple terms, it allows us to work more superficially and more deeply within the same treatment, which is useful because changes like softening through the jawline or lower face don’t happen in one single layer.

The heat creates a collagen remodelling response, so the result is not an instant “before and after” moment. It develops gradually, with the aim of improving firmness, support and definition over the weeks and months that follow.

It’s also completely non-invasive. No needles, no numbing cream and no significant downtime, which makes it a very appealing option if you’ve started noticing early laxity but aren’t looking for anything more invasive.

I think this is where XERF is really powerful. It gives us another option for treating those earlier changes in skin firmness before they become more established, while still keeping the result very natural.
